Dulwich Hamlet 4 (Dumebi Dumaka 30'; Vas Karagiannis 45'; Marc Weatherstone 53'; Ashley Carew 78') Rebels 1 (Omar Bugiel 69') - HT:2-0 Attendance: 2032 Dulwich Hamlet Starting XI (subs): Preston Edwards, Marc Weatherstone, Nathan Green, Kenny Beaney, Matt Drage, Michael Chambers, Nyren Clunis, Ashley Carew, Dumebi Dumaka (Daniel Carr 63'), Gavin Tomlin (Ibra Sekajja 73'), Vas Karagiannis (Sanchez Ming 63') Dulwich Hamlet Unused Substitutes: Quade Taylor, Ibrahim Kargbo Worthing Starting XI (subs): Jack Fagan, Will Hendon, Sam Rents, Kane Wills, Jack Cook, Corey Heath, Lloyd Dawes, Brannon O'Neill (Ross Edwards 73'), Omar Bugiel, Zack Newton, Harvey Sparks (Mike Waller 83') Worthing Unused Substitutes: Ethan Belward, Matt Boiling Worthing suffered defeat in front of over two thousand people at Champion Hill as Dulwich Hamlet comfortably won to lift themselves into sixth place. Dumebi Dumaka' deflected effort gave Hamlet the lead after half an hour before Vas Karagiannis scored just before the break to give Dulwich a two goal half-time advantage. Marc Weatherstone extended the home teams lead early in the second period; Lloyd Dawes hit the bar for Rebels just after the hour before Omar Bugiel scored with about twenty minutes to play. Ashley Carew converted a free-kick to complete Hamlet' victory with twelve minutes to go. Worthing were the only team in the fifth to fourteenth place group to lose today and thus drop one place to fifteenth (as low as we could drop today) and now sit five points adrift of the play-off places and seven points above the drop-zone. Elsewhere Bognor returned to the top of the table winning at Leatherhead as the other three main protagonist (Havant & Waterlooville, Leiston and Needham Market) all lost home matches. Staines Town occupy the final play-off place after a comfortable home win over Merstham. Hendon lifted themselves out of the relegation places with their win at Leiston as Canvey Island replace them while Met Police are in twenty-first place after winning their six-pointer with bottom of the table Grays Athletic. Worthing move on to welcome Havant & Waterlooville to Woodside Road in the league on Tuesday evening. Do we have joint managers or two managers ? Is it about time the ex player had a go and the talking coaching manual took a back seat !!?

Dulwich absolutely ruined us one dimensional clap trap. and that's not the players. we at least man for man equalled Dulwich that's for sure. tactically it took the Dulwich manager twenty minutes to work us out. it took me five why? because we played exactly the same in the last game. like a hot knife through butter our defence parted like the red sea. not once but twice. and still we backed of the third was alway coming ? it did. we were so lop sided i went home with a limp. felt sorry for sparks'y didn't get sniff every thing we did came from right. not a switch in the game some people will know what i mean ? alt the books you read on tactics go out the window when you play against some one whith tactics.

Can't believe they charge £6 for a Burger and £7 if you had a bit of cheese in it,now that was a rip off but was hungry As for the queues in the bar to get a drink, what a disorganised shambles that was, ain't going there again As for the match,we were outclassed, they weren't much better than us,just better tactics and some good forwards The ref was ok but the linesman didn't help again,I think there was a clear foul on omar and they go down the other end and get a free kick for a shoulder barge Great free kick from that and it's good night 4-1

My, how DHFC has changed since my first visit which was probably eight seasons ago. The old faces still remain but are vastly outnumbered by the trendies who are happy to queue for forty minutes for a drink and pay £6 for a burger. My advice is head to the chicken gazebo, much better value.
So to the reason for being there, well for us anyway, many of the pink and blue scarves just wanted to be seen there. After an even start, Omar stretching poked just wide and Sam Rents had a decent effort we started to slip back intoo our sitting too deep mentality, DHFC having most of the possession and when we did attack nobody breaking from midfield to join up. When they took the lead it wasn't too much of a surprise and then one either side of half time killed us off. Although Lloyd had a shot pushed on to the bar and Omar took a difficult chance from a tight angle we were never really going to get back into the match. Jack pulled off two great one on one saves to stop them scoring more. Then inside the final ten minutes a fantastic free kick.
We are looking very light on numbers again with a bench full of youth players and although not time to panic we can't afford to lose any more experienced players.
Although not a match we were expected to win we didn't look close to the side that played at Needham, Enfield or Kingstonian in the second half. Not a very enjoyable journey home except maybe for the trendies as they stopped off at Waitrose. Dulwich Dulwich RAH RAH RAH !!!!!!
Typed on phone while bored at work so no apologies for bad grammar or spelling.

No matter how good they may be, the cows fed on hand cut lemon grass, bio self produced milk or whatever, those prices would embarrass a premier league club. Way OTT. The problem as I see it: With D.H. having become a cause celebre for the right on brigade, they've outgrown their facilities. I always enjoy going there and they are a decent club, but its frustrating when you can't get served or have to queue for the bog for ages. The price of becoming a success. I believe they have plans to move next door sometime in the future? Maybe that will alleviate the problems?
