Listening as well. Seems an even game so far. Would love to her to hear the views of people there re Rees. Commentators are saying he is shaky. Sounds like a terrible game to me!!!!!!!! It sounded a game of 2 halves really to me. They could of been 2 up first half but mist a couple of sitters. We didn't lay a glove on them until the second half then Greg scored . Their equalizer came from a wonder strike. I think Rocco did ok from what I heard. I think we just need to get back behind the lad and support him.

Roco coped well with Taunton's direct style, catching most crosses and getting distance on his punches when he was being crowded. But he was twice charged down when standing with the ball at his feet, looking for a pass, but, unlike the Dartford match, the ball didn't rebound into the goal. It's almost as though he struggles with his peripheral vision and doesn't see the opponent running in on him...
There was an interesting incident right at the end of the match (before the fisticuffs that annoyed Adam). Taunton had a throw-in right on time and the referee told them that if they threw it long, he would let that phase play out, but if they threw it short he would blow the final whistle; they chose to throw it short (presumably hoping to launch another cross into the box), he blew for time and the Taunton manager got a card for complaining!

Never heard of that rule before!! How bizzare! Oh and for that led to a mass brawl is quite ridiculous!

Never heard of that rule before!! How bizzare! Oh and for that led to a mass brawl is quite ridiculous! Not so much a rule as the ref trying to use commonsense. If the attacking team has a chance of scoring, refs often wait until the play breaks up before blowing the whistle, even if it is over time; in this case, a long throw into the box would have produced a scoring opportunity, but a short throw near the half-way line wouldn't. They don't want to be like Clive Thomas in the 1978 World Cup, who let Brazil take a corner then blew for full-time just before Zico headed into the net for what would have been the winner! The mass brawl on Saturday was caused by an argument between Klass and a Taunton player, both of whom then threw punches.

As for Klass and their player coming to blows.. disgraceful

Surely the 'common sense' aspect to that thought process would've been to keep it exactly that... a thought! Its a perfectly reasonable thought, a thought framed by the correct application of the rules. But as soon as it has been voiced you are assisting one side. Hypothetically if the long throw went into the goal directly it would count as an assist 🤣 No, irrespective of whether it gives a tip-off to us or the opposition, its not for me something I want to hear from the officials 👎🏻
