I wonder why he did not include Steve Maclaren in the list? A much more appropriate comparison

I wonder why he did not include Steve Maclaren in the list? A much more appropriate comparison Maybe we can give bloor an Umberella-ella-ella. While i know many esteemed members of the forum want the ruddy thing shoved up Rihanna's arse for the stupid song, but playing it along with Bloor holding one would make chanting for him to go more fun.....and possibly risky due to us being on the brink of banning we fear.

Who or what is Rihanna and its song? ?? Can we please keep music comments on this forum to the crap and obscure; any references to popular culture will expose me for the old saddo that I undoubtedly am. At least re CCs and Rogers bands I have an excuse to be ignorant

Now I'm sure your youngest has been singing that at you 'til the cows come home. Sod the umbrella and give her rubella ella ella! Anyway www.holytoilet.com/index/index.asp - some Kentish indie/rocky stuff you might enjoy! All local-ish to you I think!

If we're sharing culture, can i recommend Neurot Recordings' site? Listenable mp3's of some talented musicians doing their thing. www.neurotrecordings.com/media.aspx My personal faves-du-jour, Enablers are there (March 14, Water Rats in Kings Cross), and Made Out of Babies have a couple of tracks on there too (including the rousing "Mr Prison Shanks", another personal fave - sounds a bit like X-mal Deutschland but with English lyrics). Sabers are an interesting listen too.

At least re CCs and Rogers bands I have an excuse to be ignorant But you can cure that with a visit to Glastonwick in July - it doesn't clash with The Big Session this year and some of the bands from last year's Big Session are @ Glastonwick (Swill/Robb Johnson, for a start ).
