The benefits of having a reasonably settled side without wholesale tinkering are starting to show through. It's no coincidence imo that the upturn has been since we've had a settled starting formation. The likes of Keehan, Kirkwood and Brotherton have all shown what they are capable of in recent games.
We've had five games that on paper would appear to be slightly softer than some of the forthcoming games against the likes of Kingstonian, Dulwich and Dover. On current form, we are capable of picking up some decent results against that trio. If we can manage that, then the push for the play-offs will be well & truly on.
No slip ups in the return at Eastbourne please!

A great win and another fantastic performance by Jamie Brotherton. He was also unlucky to be booked after being clogged all match by the Chatham boot boys. Long may the good results continue, but worryingly Pook & Bloor must be on course for manager of the month...

Does anyone out there know who won Player of the Month?

Nothing in NLT this week apart from a 2 line "report" on the game, looks like peace has broken out!!!!!!!

Thought we looked great on Saturday. Chatham were nothing to write home about at all. They were poorr and dirty, but we beat what was in front of us very well, instead of making a meal of it or losing it as we have in the past.
Brotherton looked a class act and is showing what he's capable of, Hughes looked like the player he was billed as and we dominated from start to finish in a skilful, confident, assured fashion.
Well done lads and more of the same would be great!
P.S. where's my karma gone?!

Does anyone out there know who won Player of the Month? Twas young Jamie, with Danny Davis second and Rikki Banks third. Mind you I voted for Karly so got it wrong for the fifth month in a row Now you know why I bought the T-shirt that I will be wearing on Good Friday

P.S. where's my karma gone?! Perhaps Danny B has signed up as a member ;D Destroying his critics karma is psychological warfare on his part. He decided on shock and awe tactics on Saturday against his behind-the-goal critics. He instructed the team to aim all shots at us in the second half when the game was safe in the hope of somebody losing their head. I've never known so many stray shots end up in the same place behind the goal. It's a conspiracy I tell ya....

Haha we were targetted indeed, he's using OUR tactics against us.
Incidentally, Danny Bloor in talking sense shocker: Bloor said: "That's five on the trot now and we are into a play-off position. We were 3-0 up at half-time and thoroughly deserved it but the second half wasn't what we required.
"We have got to keep turning up the sort of performance we produced in the first half.
"We have eight games left - eight cup finals - and we will give it our best shot."
Dangerously, I have to agree. Is it him talking sense or me going Bloorish?!

I suppose he deserves it the most. Not only has he played well, but he has scored a lot of goals as well. What more could you ask from a striker?
