Despite being on the losing side last night, Bridges striker Noel Leighton looked impressive with Pearce like characteristics. Has over 40 goals this season and would be a good fit in a Worthing type footballing side.

In terms of his future, Pearce confirmed: “I’ve had a few clubs knocking around, I still feel that I’ve got four or five good years left in me, so who knows what will happen in the summer.”
“But if we go up I might end up staying at Worthing. First and foremost I’m fully focused on getting Worthing promoted.”

I think if we go up then we have a very good chance of keeping Him, Danny and Joe!! Full focus on Monday, we know what we need to do for those players to remain!

Really hope the club make a decision/announce the new manager as soon a a possible. Just looking at some clubs and the players that are being released. Some of them I definitely would like to have at Woodside. I think the longer we wait the more difficult it will get. Players want security as well.
Several key positions to fill. If Ollie goes that is the obvious one. But getting a new goalie must be up there as well.

I'm not sure any incoming manager wouldn't want the likes of Joel Colbran, Joe Felix, Danny Cashman or Ollie Pearce as part of their squad. |

He could do that, but I suspect that if the players don't know who the new manager will be they might be reluctant to commit as yet, as several folk on here have repeatedly pointed out. |
