Jack was fantastic last year year but is still a youngster and will learn a lot. In my eyes competition is a good thing. He won't learn anything if he's getting splinters in his rear end on the bench. And surely the competition should be coming from the U21/U18's. Cooky, Jimmy and Rui haven't let us down when they've been thrown in but this surely means they fall even further down the pecking order.

Yes Kev, apart from the slip for their goal he was quality. Could def do a job in my opinion.

I hope the managers sign Sibu Muwanga he's got a bit about him. i think he would do well for us. I agree, Sibu would be a good signing based on what I have seen so far. I like the fact that the management team are going for a squad with 2 options for each position - its a long hard season and there will be plenty of game time available for the whole squad. We are also in a good position where there is not a lot of difference in standard of either option all over the pitch so switching around to keep players fresh and happy should not be a problem.

I too think Sibu, looks good in defence and chatting to him up in the stand last week, he is a decent guy and deserves to do well. He is mobile, in going forward, yet solid at the back, so the best from both sides, as for Ben Pope, he deserves his chance at a higher level of football, his finishing is clinical and hopefully will make it professionally.
