Fellow supporters
If you buy a copy of the matchday programme you will note I am introducing a few new items; “Where Are They Now” an occasional series looking at former players/coaches who have advanced up the pyramid which started with Byron Harrison, a feature about our other teams which started with the Women, a series where fans tell us their experiences of following WFC, which being a modest person started with me!
It’s for the last of these that I am asking for your help. So if you would like to tell me how you came to support the mighty Rebels or if there is one match which sticks in your memory please send it to me at wfcprog@gmail.com
Please supply as a word document (500-750 words is perfect) with any pictures as jpeg attachments. I will need your name (not an alias) and I can’t guarantee that I will be able to include everything and some editing may be needed.
If you have any ideas for other possible items for inclusion in the programme, I am open to all reasonable suggestions. I've seen the programme described on here as "crap" so here's the chance to put your money where your mouth is and help improve it.
Thanks in advance for your help
Roger (as Programme Editor)

The 'crap' comment belied a lack of understanding I felt. An understanding that the programme is produced by volunteers, an understanding that adverts are essential to stop it being a loss making venture and an understanding that as a club production it can't possibly be as 'edgy' as a fanzine ('twas Rebel Rebel the poster was comparing it too).
That said it can and has been improved this season. We buy one every game and previously there wasn't much original content beyond the Chairman and Managers article. Not so now.
Now I can be resistant to change but having seen what other clubs have done with e-programmes I think longer term the future definitely lies there. As well as original written articles you can have video interviews, highlights, stats galore and even audio links for the matchday music choices.
If I could remember any of the games I went to as a teenager Roger I might take a stab at a contribution, but it was a long time ago and my Rebels return is far too recent. I look forward to reading others though.

After Roger's hard work and effort over the years the 'matchday programme' will be going in a different direction for the 20/21 season.
Don't worry we'll still have printed copies but look out for brand new 'e-versions' before our Woodside games.
Keep your eyes peeled on club socials for more news over the coming month on the build up to the new season.

Good luck to Sam. I look forward to seeing just what new direction he takes the programme. I quite enjoyed my time as editor but I'll not miss having to chase everyone up on Sunday evening for a Tuesday home game

Due to the ongoing pitch issues & prog deadlines the games at Horsham won't have printed versions (as voted by the wfcsa) The club will however be offering free 24 page e-copies for both games, I'm almost finishing editing so keep an eye out
