Anyone know how the U18's got on on Thursday night against Hastings?
I've been holding on for some definitive news on either club site, club Twitter site or the FA site but so far there's absolutely nothing. Did it even happen?

Oh, OK then, they've just announced at half time that the U18's are playing Chichester City at Woodside Road in the Sussex Cup, kick off 10am tomorrow!
I'm close to giving up on trying to keep on top of the other team's fixtures.
All I wanted to do was simply help promote some wider club interest but I'm spending far too much time 'hearding kittens'.
It seems like they're making fixtures up as they go along by not bothering to publicise in reasonable advance and then not updating results after games.
Any objections if I stop maintaining the Academy/U18's/Womens threads? If no-one is finding them useful then I could do without the hassle.

24 hours of responses duly noted Attempts to manage the unmanageable duly ended. If the U18's did indeed play at Woodside Road this morning then six hours after the final whistle there is zip, nada, niente anywhere to be found about it meaning the decision is vindicated. The three thread titles will be 'blanded' (ie the 'next fixture' bit removed so they can either be used by others or quietly wither on the vine. It was taken on with good intentions but life is too short to be constantly refreshing the various fixture lists 'incomplete and vague aspiration lists'. If the club can't keep abreast of what's going on and/or promote itself then how and why should I.

The U18's are 'scheduled'* to play Bognor Regis this evening at Woodside Road (K/O 7:45). We are currently 2nd in the league, Rocks are 6th. * If you note a hint of caution in there then you'd be correct, my fingers are still burnt from trying to keep up with these fixtures. A case in point being tomorrow's Academy game at 2pm. The club site will tell you we're at home to Ebbsfleet in the league while the FA site has us down to play that one whilst simultaneously playing Dartford away in the cup... now the lads are good, but they're not that good

FT - Rebels 5-0 Rocks. Always a pleasure!
...oh, and despite what is listed there definitely isn't an academy game at Woodside Road tomorrow, they're at Dartford in the cup.

The FA Full Time website is the best place to start for all fixtures except the Men's team and Isthmian Youth side.

Oh I agree Roger. The problem this time was not just the club site, the FA Fulltime fixture list was (and still is) showing fixtures in both Dartford and Worthing at the same time this afternoon.
Whilst logic suggested the league game was postponed readers shouldn't have to apply their own logic. A fixture list should just be a list of fixtures, not a cryptic puzzle.

Much better coverage tonight and much better result! Was a good game too, few bright prospects in there. Liked the look of Kyle O'Brien who has been around the first team pre-season.
Prelim 4-2 Victory @ Culver Road v Guildford. Next Round - Round 1 away to South Park w/c 21st Sep.

I echo that, there are some very promising players in that group.
What I particularly liked with this group though was the attitude and application of them all.
Having watched a few games over the last couple of seasons I felt that aspect let them down at times. It was too often a sweary, posturing 'lads night out' rather a dedicated football team focusing on playing and winning a football match.
Last night's serious, dare I say professional attitude would encourage me to get out and follow them more often.
Well done one and all 👏
