'Tis only fair and proper that the Womens team get their own thread too and tomorrow they're in County Cup action at Woodside Road.

Blimey, Rebel Rebel starts a thread for Worthing FC women and the crowd gets a ten fold increase. 310 here today OK, credit where it's really due, the game was heavily promoted long before the mention on here. It's really nice to see so many families, hopefully they'll return for future games. Full Time Worthing 1-2 Saltdean.

Very much enjoyed doing the announcing but won't be able to do it for every game. Feel free to get involved, club always looking for volunteers at womens/u18/academy games.

A 'bump' for tomorrow night's game, for those not going door to door demanding sweets with menaces

If you haven't taken in a Worthing Women game to date then Sunday would be the perfect time to start.
A point is all that is needed at home to seal the first promotion for one of our sides this season, and hopefully not the last.
The odds are pretty favourable as we're unbeaten in the league all season and we beat Newhaven Ladies 8-0 in the reverse fixture.

*BUMP* It might not be something you've tried before but as of right now the South East Counties Womens League may be just about the last sporting authority left with the balls spine to put on a show.
Furthermore our women should very comfortably secure the point they need to gain promotion.

Who knows in this crazy world we now inhabit whether or not anything that happened in 2019/20 will ever eventually count for anything. But all the while there is a football match on, and a promotion winning football match at that, surely you'd want to be there to take it in.
3pm Sunday, Woodside Road... it could be the last football match for a very long time
