What timing. I've literally just been boring the back teeth off the missus with the permutations on a dog walk (one daily household exercise, honestly officer).
For the reasons outlined earlier I genuinely think that is the best of a Bognor set of options for us.
I feel sorry for Hinch and the players that their fantastic efforts count for nothing on the records and that they won't have a promotion on their career CV.
But.
I think for the CLUB the step up straight off the back of what will be a huge financial hit might've been a step too far at the worst possible of times.
Also, it actually WASN'T for nothing guys because your performances won't be forgotten by us. Your goals, your saves Carl and Rocco, and your collective wins DID happen and you made us very happy and very proud.
So chins up lads, you ARE the undisputed 2019/20 IPD champions to us and whenever football resumes you'll do it again.
Bring on next season and come on you Rebels!

I remember just a few games ago joking that the match programme had erased our 6-0 defeat to Hornchurch from the records. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that would actually happen. Turns out it didn't happen after all. We now live in a parallel universe, and a very strange and uncertain one it is.

Sadly, in the society that prevails today, to try and resolve things any other way would have led to a flurry of law suits and even more uncertainty. Already I am hearing rumours of legal action (leagal action maybe ) by South Shields who were in a similar position to us in the Northern Prem League. The least wrong decision in my eyes We go again (sometime)

You weren't slack on getting Issue 4 out there Sam but as the content is all pre-Covid 19 everything just seems like a lifetime ago... yet it's only been a couple of weeks

Well said George, and yes, if they allow Liverpool to win the league and the likes of Leeds and WBA etc to be promoted now, then frankly, that would stink.

I've thought long and hard before posting this but as it is already on other non league forums I felt I should.
The original poster has proved to be well clued up and informed in the past BUT I have no information as to whether he is right on this occasion, I really hope not as the fallout if true could be substantial :-
"The FA’s decision isn’t quite as simple as it appears. The reason why the FA decided to null and void the season, was pushed by the step 3/4 league’s. The architect of this was Isthmian League chairman Nick Robinson and supported by the FA’s Jack Pearce. The NPL & SLP agreed with basically 2 guys opinion. The step 5/6 league’s were given lip service and basically have no power in these regards. No clubs were involved, so the stakeholders weren’t involved by those supposed to be organising their league’s. The FA had a knee jerk reaction and just decided to go with Nick’s & Jack’s point of view."
I would hope that WFC would seek clarification to ensure that this was not the way such an important decision was made and make public the response

Jack Pearce prevents Rebels promotion?... BOOM! Just like him doing the FA Cup, FA Trophy & Sussex Cup draws and giving us mostly away ties. Shock.
