Just over £18,000 now - Rebel Yell bought a brick with some of the profits made from the fanzine. WFCSA also donated a further £4,000 to the crowdfunder before it was launched. Keep sharing, liking, retweeting. What a fantastic start, we can do this! Also 5 lifetime ST's left - When do we think they will sell out?! www.crowdfunder.co.uk/wfcfuturesbright#start

Very tempted by the season ticket. Am I right that if the club changes ownership at any point or if the club make it into the football league they will still be honoured? If so, and the club continue their upwards progress on and off the pitch they will be a very good investment.

Very tempted by the season ticket. Am I right that if the club changes ownership at any point or if the club make it into the football league they will still be honoured? If so, and the club continue their upwards progress on and off the pitch they will be a very good investment. My way of looking at it was it pays for eight seasons (at current prices). Short of death or incapacitation I couldn't think of a reason why I wouldn't still be going in eight seasons time. And if I'm dead or incapacitated then I'll either have bigger problems to worry about than money...or I'll be dead! Now, *if* the club changed hands in that time it would only be for one of two reasons. One, we are doing SO incredibly well that George gets an offer he simply can't refuse... happy days all round. The new owners would probably honour it, or at worst time limit it as there would only be a few on the books. The other, and I don't want to even want to contemplate this so we'll call it highly hypothetical... the whole club goes belly up and he HAS to sell up. Now if the club and/or George were in any form of trouble I wouldn't take a free ST anyway, i'd pay for a season ticket again. I see it as an investment, not for the season ticket but an investment of cash into the redevelopment fund. If I get equivalent monetary value in due course, great. If I don't so be it, I'll be going to Woodside Road anyway and there'll be better facilities when I'm there because we all invested to get this fund completed. If you, or anyone else, is thinking about it, go for it. But go for it with your eyes open. I don't personally consider it a gamble but if you do, like all gambling, you should only stake what you are prepared to lose.

I bought one of the 5 year season tickets when we were last in difficulty (£625) and got full use out of it. Sadly my current distance from Woodside prevents me doing the same now but one donation/purchase has been made and more will probably follow.
By the way some other clubs fans eg Folkestone, seem to find our efforts funny though I can see no reason why

With £28,000+ in the kitty that's 67% meaning we're two thirds done now.

With the £33,000 mark having just been passed we are now into the final £10k. These will obviously be the hardest yards yet, but we can do this
