It gets worse; also today Abingdon Town (Hellenic League) have also been evicted by the same landlords in a repeat scenario

God that sucks 😔
Whenever I hear things like that whilst first sympathising hugely with the staff and the fans... I then think to myself 'thank God for Sir George of Dowell' 🙏

And apparently ex professional footballer Ian Rush is involved in this sorry debacle.
Obviously completely forgetting his roots considering he started his career at Chester before finding fame and fortune at Liverpool.
Terrible news, hopefully Whyteleafe can continue in some form in the near future even it is at a lower level to begin with much like Southwick 1882 are doing.

Final confirmation as they are removed from the league fixtures... Isthmian Site - LinkIts a timely reminder to every football fan to be as watchful of what goes on in the boardroom as what goes on on the pitch. We are incredibly lucky, not all clubs are, but luck can always change over time. My heart goes out to their fans, just as everyone else is building up anticipation for the new season, their Saturday afternoon's are all blank. If, when and where they ever get to put out a team again remains to be seen.

Four year deal to play home games at Church Road agreed with the new landlords. Hopefully they can get something agreed longer term. Either way, good to see them back and wish them well on an eventual return to the Isthmian ranks.
