Harrison, Luca, Pat, Kyle. Buddy, Marv, Will, Ollie Starkey and Dean in midfield. Front 2 of Dayshonne and Luke would be my team for Tuesday. I'd like to see Jesse and Jasper get more minutes under their belt too after their time out. We do need some consistency for the minutes to mean something. It's hard to start from scratch with a completely new team and prepare to contribute to a team that is performing well. We know it's not an important match for most fans, but for players like Segar, Golding and Marv, it's a real opportunity. Hinshelwood will pick a team that bests supports our strongest XI and a promotion... I think we can trust that!

In the end a pretty strong side was fielded and we're through. The proof of the pudding as to whether this squad choice was wise will be if in a weeks time after two very tough home games the squad is still firing on all cylinders or the battery has run flat.
Its always nice to beat the Rocks but the most pleasing thing, at this point, ahead of Hornchurch and Folkestone, is that we avoided extra time and it seems like everyone came through the game unscathed.
Also through last night were Three Bridges (3-1 winners at Horsham YMCA) and Horsham (2-1 home winners against Saltdean United). Eastbourne Town's home fixture with the BHA kids is to be played on the 25th. Clearly Brighton are favorites for that and will be the side the other three wish to avoid in the semi finals
The Semi's will need to be played roughly late Feb to early March... precisely around the time we face back to back games against K's, Stortford, Enfield and Lewes, so the absolutely critical period of our promotion push. Some tough squad decisions are going to be needed again therefore.

Relatively comfortable victory in my opinion. We were much the better side in the first half and fully deserved our 1 goal lead courtesy of Will after Tangara made a save from Marvin. With some better decision making in their box and a better final ball we could have created many more scoring opportunities.
2nd half Bognor were much improved but we still looked dangerous on the break. Harrison made a flying save from a long range effort but otherwise had little to trouble him. Dayshonne struck the woodwork for the second time time in the match but Tangara also didn't have any difficult saves to make. Best chance for Bognor to level came in injury time. A whipped in free kick directed wide from close range. And to compound that miss we went straight up the other end and made it 2 - Jasper with a cross that found the top corner.
Off the pitch unfortunately there were far too many numpties 'supporting both sides.' Looked like a 'football factory' themed day out for the local youth clubs. Items thrown onto the pitch, flares and apparently scuffles outside the ground are all incidents both sides could do without.
Maybe segregation and all ticket lunch time kick offs are the way forward for this fixture unless it is a midweek cup game.

Its pathetic really.
There's nothing 'hard' about any of them. Those involved in all this (I observed the tiny elements within the two clubs fans at the league game) couldn't punch their way out of a paper bag or blow the skin off a rice pudding.
To us oldies who remember when football really was 'edgy' and fraught with genuine menace, its just a laughable pastiche. They are to a football 'firm' what ridiculous tribute acts are to big rock bands 🤦
Hopefully we won't play Bognor for a while and by the time we do these children will have grown up 🙄

For me I feel its a case of these 'yobs' seeing a cheap day out where they go to the local spoons, get tanked up and then come to a football match as an excuse to be rowdy, and act as if they are a hard man! Let's hope next season we don't play the rocks, as much as Derby games are great, it feels like its been hijacked by idiots, which ruins it for the actual fans! I think any genuine fan knows that these 2 groups are not representative of either side!

Semi final draw will be broadcast on Saturday at 545pm on Radio Sussex.
Have also read that the final may not be at The Amex this season.

Meh, a couple of thousand people in a tens of thousand stadium is always a bit flat for me. Its a non league competition*, fill a non league ground and raise its roof.
Team 4 in the hat is, inevitably, BHA kids, 3-0 winners at Eastbourne Town.
*Crawley never show much interest and for BHA its a youth development exercise.

Me thinks Crawleys Checkatrade Stadium would be ideal for the final.

We drew Three Bridges.
Best chance of progressing 👍
Best chance of being kicked all over the park and picking up injuries 👎
Date to be confirmed but venue will be Culver Road.

Dates advertised as Tuesday 15th Feb, when ourselves and Horsham both have league fixtures, and Tuesday 1st March.
Can't see the rush to play these semis when the final isn't usually until May.

Is it two legged then?
I thought it was a one off at a neutral venue for the semi?

Is it two legged then? I thought it was a one off at a neutral venue for the semi? Still played as a one off game. One tie on the 15th and the other tie on the 1st, hasn't been decided yet on which date each tie will take place.
