In all honesty Charlie it was only done by the the wholly unscientific method of how much blue and how much red was was on the ticket selection options 🤷 You may well be right and I hope you are. But with Albion 'gifting' tickets to ST holders (the majority of their EPL crowd) and all the unnecessary'registering' (cough...data harvesting!) discouraging our support it just feels live we have hurdles to negotiate while they're just given a 'bunk up'. But even if we are outnumbered we'll outshine That we will! I think it's currently around 1300 that we've sold and 700 that they've sold but maybe ST free tickets are going in a different block and thus not on general sale. We'll soon see!

Good afternoon, for anyone who is driving to the game tonight, is there a park and ride service operating from anywhere? I am thinking now to get the train as i have found little info on parking. Apologies if this has come up on previous posts but any advice would be helpful

There is a small section on parking within the club preview which gives a link to BHA's parking space reservation service, which of course has to be paid for 🙄... WFC Preview - LinkGreen Brighton isn't at all 'car friendly' and they prefer everyone to take public transport. The train might actually be the least worst option. Don't be tempted to 'wing it' and try to park in Falmer itself. The area is heavily monitored for non residential use and everyone has to display a residents permit. Its a big risk to park without one, especially on match days.

Top tip for anyone coming in...
...don't buy the hot dog!
You'd think given the level this club operates the food options would be top notch.
A baton of bread and a long hot dog, separate from each other with no relish at all in a sweaty foil bag doth not top notch make.
Half an hour 'til kick off and the programmes haven't arrived yet either. FFS, amateurs 🙄

The story we got told was that the printer send them to Dagenham! ( easy mistake to make). And they were on the way. Home now and still waiting for my programme.

Yeah, I suspect we'll never see them now. Shame, I always take one for every new ground I visit... and I hope to god I never have to go there again.
The programme FUBAR seems symptomatic of the Amex omnishambles... Parking folk paid for but as no-one was checking you could've just rocked up to, body searches that wouldn't be out of place in a custody block, a stupid electronic ticket scanner that didn't work, the aforementioned worst ever hot dog (I mean how can you **** up a hot dog FFS?) and all for a bland identikit Football League plastic-o-bowl that wouldn't have been fit for purpose for a game like that even if they HAD got everything else right.
As for the game, great to see our team one more time and show our appreciation and we were the 'big' club by atmosphere generated, we won that hands down.
But the match itself was ruined by some unfathomable decisions from the officials and a bunch of technically gifted kids with no soul took their chances well.
I noted in the preview that none of their team from 2020 went on to do anything in football, so we'll see if Todger or whatever their #9 was called bucks that trend or if in 20 years time his embarrassing 'shirt and bra off' celebration will be all he has to fall back on when he recalls his 'career' 🤦
In short it was worth being there just to support Hinsh and the squad but nothing, literally nothing was enjoyable about the Amex at all.

I rest my case about playing the final at the Amex.

As both an Albion STH and Worthing Fan, I feel I should respond to this one @keithsson! Cards on the table, I didn't go the game because it was my Birthday yesterday, and Mrs Goldstonerapper was taking me out for dinner............however it does sound very much like BHAFC did not provide the same matchday experience for the SSC Final as they would normally for a normal league game, usually the car park management and the electronic ticket scanning works well but your feedback suggests that they just didn't provide adequate stewarding for the game. You are correct in your assessment of the hot dogs, they are indeed rank, but I can recommend the selection of pies they normally have for sale as very decent. The AMEX stadium criticism is a little unfair though IMHO, it's not an identikit bowl (like St. Mary's for example) and does have some design merit with the curved stands and profile into the downs. The atmosphere last Saturday at the AMEX was particularly good, in the 4-0 tonking of Utd with the added beauty of seeing Ronaldo sulking on the pitch. Clearly though the Sussex FA should have chosen a neutral venue, because BHAFC seem to have put in a half baked effort for this game. Having said all of that, I was definitely pro Worthing for this game, even being an Albion STH so disappointed to see the result. Some of the fare served up at the AMEX this season has been dire (Brighton 0 - Burnley 3), and for the first time I have considered quitting and going to Worthing full time instead!
