Ah, Hornchurch.
Past history of financial doping that deprived us of an FA Cup run, pitch surrounded by running track and inedible chips (and for me to bin chips they really must be bad), what's not to like?

And it is Cheshunt who will join us next season! Wining 1-2 today in the final and a certain Mr Newton getting the winner!
Congratulations to them! A very good side.

Farnborough won 2.1 at Hayes and Yeading to clinch promotion today. And Welling survive with Billericay relegated.

Another bonus could well be the food on offer at some of these grounds... Oxford City: Ebbsfleet: Hungerford: I thought of this post (and all the forthcoming delights we have in store) when I came across this article... Gruaniad - LinkIt seems the quality of the offerings, notably so at non league level is on the up ππ» I'm off to @footyscran... just to make my lunch today feel completely inadequate π And I know we've gone down a slight tangent wiyh food but there isn't a catering/food thread... and its not as if there's a whole heap else to discuss at the moment π€·

The Food League has to be a thread next season and there looks to be some serious competition.
Horsham won last year with Worthing just making playoffs. As with the squad, we'll have to invest to make sure of our place in the league! π

Interestingly, there is strong rumours linking Bognor with a change of leagues to the Southern prem, sure that won't wash to well with fans with potential trips to Weston-Super-Mare!!

Interestingly, there is strong rumours linking Bognor with a change of leagues to the Southern prem, sure that won't wash to well with fans with potential trips to Weston-Super-Mare!! Apparently less miles over the course of the season if they do move plus the added advantage that their crowds would be amongst the top of the attendance leader board.

I doubt their crowds would be as big without Worthing, Horsham and Lewes derbies. Plus all the scouting they've accumulated over the years on teams/players that would be taken back to zero. What is non league football with no local rivalries?

Interestingly, there is strong rumours linking Bognor with a change of leagues to the Southern prem, sure that won't wash to well with fans with potential trips to Weston-Super-Mare!! But if we stay in the Ryman Prem,we could end up at Leiston/Needham Market/Canvey Island/Potters Bar. It would be a fun new challenge. With you going up,we would miss that derby day payday regardless,Horsham travelled well but Lewes didnβt. I personally fancy a change to the southern league, potential of catching a ferry to Gosport and a Plane to Truro. How good does that sound π Joys of us being as west in Sussex as we are,we are always on the cusp of moving, and because to many east teams look to be joining the Ryman Prem, thatβs why the rumours are very strong.

A plane to Truro indeed. Drive and make a week of it, its beautiful down there ππ»
I'd be very jealous of that trip.

The only problem is that Truro don't play at home in Truro. They share with Plymouth Parkway in Plymouth!

The only problem is that Truro don't play at home in Truro. They share with Plymouth Parkway in Plymouth! I know, hence no problem for me as I'm Janner born π That's why I think Gobbo should take a car an make a trip of it. Right on the border he's got the best of D&C to explore. Besides, I wasn't going to be the one to break it to him but Plymouth Airport closed some years back now so his nearest touchdown is 40 miles East at Exeter or 40 miles west at Newquay π€«
