The only problem is that Truro don't play at home in Truro. They share with Plymouth Parkway in Plymouth! I know, hence no problem for me as I'm Janner born π That's why I think Gobbo should take a car an make a trip of it. Right on the border he's got the best of D&C to explore. Besides, I wasn't going to be the one to break it to him but Plymouth Airport closed some years back now so his nearest touchdown is 40 miles East at Exeter or 40 miles west at Newquay π€« When we played Truro in the conf south a few years back,we βοΈ down there,we also played them in the Fa trophy at Plymouth parkway last season as mentioned. When we βοΈ we stayed in Newquay for one night then into Truro. Thatβs why Iβm all for a change and hopefully freshen up away days. As the isthmian has lost a little of its βwow nessβ and now with yourselves gone, maybe the change will be good. Salisbury away is hell of a ground for this level, only there and Peterborough away are the only times weβve had a police escort out of ground when Iβve been following Rocks. Dorchester,Weston Super Mare,Poole all seem appealing to me. You have some good away days, Hemel Hempstead is very underrated away day,Weymouth π Enjoy the ride, hopefully we may see you up there one day soon.

I've heard that Parkway may be booting Truro out this summer, no idea where they would go then as they did share at Torquay in the past which also didn't go too well

Nothing to do with Worthing FC, but I was intrigued about 'Janner'. Never heard that before and looked it up. Came across this. I found it a very enjoyable watch. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwrmyn8xQ2Q

Back on topic and with everyone completing their regulation 40 games yesterday, the regular NLS season has finished... National League South Table - Link Billericay have gone down and Maidstone have gone up, but then we already new this. The play-off set-up however is now confirmed as follows... National League South Play-offs... Eliminator A β Wednesday 11 May - Oxford City v Eastbourne Borough β 7.45pm Eliminator B β Thursday 12 May - Dartford v Chippenham Town β 7.45pm Semi-Final β Saturday 14 May* - Dorking Wanderers v winner of Eliminator A β 3pm Semi-Final β Sunday 15 May - Ebbsfleet United v winner of Eliminator B β 3pm Promotion Final β Saturday 21 May β 3pm *Subject to change to Sunday 15 May if both clubs are in agreement As for clubs coming down into the NLS from the National League proper although they haven't concluded their season the three relegated clubs have already been confirmed... Kings Lynn Town, Weymouth and ( what remains of) Dover Athletic go into contention for the NLS. Dover and Weymouth will surely do just that but Kings Lynn Town may be a tad too 'northern' perhaps? So to update Kenty's opening post list of potential opposition next season... (Confirmed = Bold, Still TBC = italic) Banbury Town? - Awaiting confirmation of league allocation. Bath City . Braintree Town Chelmsford City Chippenham Town? - Play-off team. Cheshunt? - Awaiting confirmation of league allocation. Concord RangersDartford? - Play-off team. Dorking Wanderers? - Play-off team. Dover Athletic? - Awaiting confirmation of league allocation.Dulwich HamletEastbourne Borough? - Play-off team. Ebbsfleet United - Play-off team. Farnborough? - Awaiting confirmation of league allocation. Hampton & Richmond Borough Havant & Waterlooville Hayes & Yeading United Hemel Hempstead Town Hungerford Town Kings Lynn Town? - Awaiting confirmation of league allocation. Oxford City? - Play off team. Peterborough Sports? - Awaiting confirmation of league allocation. Slough Town St Albans City Taunton Town? - Awaiting confirmation of league allocation. Tonbridge Angels Welling United Weymouth? - Awaiting confirmation of league allocation. WorthingNow I can see why you gave your list a health warning Kenty... this is bloody difficult. I've given myself a nose-bleed and a headache trying to keep across all that! There will inevitably be mistakes in there, but right now my brain is frazzled. A line has to be drawn somewhere though ( pun intended) so I've not included the promoted teams from the NPLP who will absolutely go to the NLN. Many of these teams will join them in going to the National League North and there are some teams in italics that again must bleedin' well obviously stay south of the magic lines drawn by the authorities. However once you start looking at a physical map of the country, and once you know that transport infrastructure is taken into consideration too, its the Devils own job to know who will go where. The sums don't add up for everyone going where you'd naturally expect them to be. The ILPC clubs for example (Banbury and Peterborough), you'd think being from the more 'northern' league they'd feed into the NLN... but then Kings Lynn coming down are much further north on the map... but yet hang on, what are the transport infrastructure routes like in rural Norfolk! It's a total 'kin minefield so basically i've shoved everyone I think could even conceivably be considered 'southern' onto the list of potentials because for once I don't envy the poor sods at the League authorities who have to sort all that out. Right, I need a lie down now!

Bath City, Braintree, Chelmsford, Cheshunt, Concord, Dover, Dulwich, Farmborough, Hampton, Havant, Hemel, Hungerford, Slough, St Albans, Taunton, Tonbridge, Welling, Weymouth, Worthing plus 5 from the 6 clubs in the playoffs who are Chippenham, Eastbourne, Oxford, Dartford, Ebbsfleet and Dorking would seem to be the sensible set up for National South next season.

Once the league constitution is confirmed I'll try to do a list of all the club fans forums.
If I achieve this, can it be made a "sticky"?

As I felt with Sam's map on page 3 I am drawn to nearly all the venues that sit to the West of an imaginary vertical line up from us and virtually none of the venues to the east... its funny, I can kinda see Gobbo's draw towards the Southern League now π€ I love the drive as much as the destination and there are vastly more interesting driving roads that way, proper days out, or even weekenders. But the proliferation of places to the east that take in the M25 just leaves me flacid. Even Dover is an ugly pig of a trip.

Eastbourne Borough now confirmed as staying in the NLS after losing their play-off eliminator last night.
Oxford City won 2-0 and go forward to play Dorking Wanderers on Saturday for a place in the final.
The Dartford v Chippenham Town eliminator is tonight, the winners to play Ebbsfleet for the other final place.

Ebbsfleet progress to meet Dorking in the final... so we get a trip to Chippenham Town ππ»
For me that's how play-offs should end up, the two highest placed teams going head to head. Personally I'd rather Ebbsfleet progressed from here though, Dorking is almost local.
