Given Wycombe Wanderers penchant for the 'dark arts' under Ainsworth, I wouldn't rule it out Kenty 🙄

Surely they will have to pay a fee as the player is under 24. Intresting choice of location to play, but good luck to JP. Big boots to fill….

I'm really hoping the Brighton game is allowed spectators, would be another ''ground'' to tick off if held at the training complex. 25 days til the first one! Countdown mode.

Interesting WW 🤔 With a pair of back to back one hour games the following day at home to Whitehawk/Winchester we might just have to dust off our old boots and help out 😆 Especially if this fixture still stands too 😲... Looks like we are in the Dave Kew Cup organised by Pagham FC again. Will play Pagham on Friday 15th July if we beat Selsey.

Wycombe "friendly" confirmed on the WWFC site as a "Get the Worthing supporters to pay the transfer fee" one, oh and it's a Wycombe XI, not even the first team.
Class Wycombe, sheer class.

Seeing as their league season starts on 30th July I suppose it is to be expected. Did we get a fee for Jasper? Not sure if he was under contract, if not then an opportunity missed.

WFC v Three Bridges (Tuesday 7:45) It's back!! Match Centre - LinkFor some reason the close season didn't seem to drag much at all, it doesn't seem like five minutes ago since the last preview. But start all over again we do as we mount our NLS challenge. First up is 'beauty and the beast' again as 'Sexy Worthing' play the trolls from under the 'Bridges. Last pre-season it was a joy to watch as we cruised to 5-0 before the half hour in a 6-1 win. Later of course, and equally comfortable, was the 0-5 Sussex Senior Cup Semi-Final win at Culver Road... WFC v Three Bridges (Friendly) 13/7/21 - Match reportThree Bridges v WFC (SSCC S/F) 01/03/22 - LinkUnlike last season this is the first pre-season game for both teams so fitness over finesse will be the priority. With the Albion game on Friday I wouldn't expect a full strength side to feature for long together, if at all. Logically the squad as a whole will get a run out including the Academy/U18 lads. Sometimes it's 'mix and match', sometimes it'll be two '45 minute squads'. Either way it'll just be great to get back into familiar surroundings and routines. Bridges finished 14th ( out of 20) in the Isthmian League South East, now two divisions below us. A quick and wholly unscientific trawl of Twitter shows that the vast bulk of the squad from last season has returned but they have also signed a familiar face to us, Keiron Pammant. Come on you Rebels!

Well regardless of the 2-0 win, minutes in the legs and no injuries was the success. Goals from J Robinson (nod in at the back post) and Perry (nutmeg the keeper) separated the teams. First half we should have conceded a pen in first 10 mins but Cam Tutt got away with it. Marv looked lively playing higher up the pitch, Lewis White showed some pace and intensity, Luke Robinson showed a good touch and pace on attack, nothing to trouble Harrison in goal. Second half and some changes later... Cochoracchio looked physically stronger and Owen Spicer continues to impress at the back. Mo Jammeh was Poku-esque on the ball and has certainly developed since I last saw him. As far as triallists go... there were no standouts. #17 (Charlie?!) Was OK and #12 had plenty of minutes with some good points, but against a team from 2 leagues below, nothing I saw would add to the squad from last year and this year has to be stronger.
Has to be said Three Bridges were a sound team this time. No issues with them at all. Pamment had a big crash with Harrison and came off second best but there was nothing bad tempered.
Reasonable crowd of 458.
Great to be back at the football!
