I am sure my son and I I watched several women’s games last season with our season tickets. Ah, interesting. I tried early doors last season and was told it only applied to the mens teams. Possibly a 'left hand/right hand' response from an untrained turnstile operator but after that I felt a bit 'cheap' asking again 😆 Now its up in writing on the website I'll try again... with evidence. I don't feel its taking the p1ss as they always get a couple of pints out of me too. As Bally said the 'fringe' benefits of a season ticket do get undersold. I'd been paying for ages for the U18's before I happened to be queuing up to pay and someone happened to flash their ST 🤦🏻

I think the additional entry to womens' and u18 league matches has been undersold by the club. I too use my season ticket to support them both on occasions. The women I sometimes watch on a Sunday with the family but I do love a Tuesday evening watching the u18s! And there are a fair few other club fans who do the same. The u18 trials were very competitive this year (based on Stu's bit on the podcast), so next year will be exciting! It is a season ticket for the club, not just the team which is great value for money! The 18s have lost a few extremely talented lads as they've just got too old However, there is a very strong squad in place for next season, and they will certainly acquit themselves very well again in the Isthmian Youth league. With the new Chichester college link (very strong programme) I'm sure there will be some exciting new talent. Only 5/6 of the u16 squad got into the u18s!

Even fewer from the U15's to U16's so I heard. Its brutal but that's how you have to be to achieve excellence.
My friends son was let go after the recent trials, a very good little player. But his current physical development and the ability to fit his strengths into the Worthing blueprint dropped him short of the very high bar set.
Gutting for him but looking to the bigger picture it will produce results for the club.
Its why, whether you get a season ticket or not, its well worth coming down to Woodside Road under the lights to watch the U18's. Even more so the Academy games in the week if you're lucky enough to be free during the day.
I'm sure back in the day it was just a case of throw a few talented teenagers a ball and let them get on with it. But the club 'pathway' system now is such that you are guaranteed great football played 'the Worthing way' knowing full well that you're watching players that can, and do, make the grade.
I too like the mindset 'club season ticket' as opposed to 'team season ticket' Bally. Its buying into that ethos that the club needs fans to do to further cement its community roots.

Saying that I would happily pay to watch the women team. Always enjoy going. Especially the last few games when they managed to open up the kiosk. Signs that more people are attending and it becomes more viable to have the facilities open.

This might sound daft but even as an Albion STH I’m very tempted to go for the early bird ST……….yes I’m going to miss circa 20% of the games with Albion fixture clashes, but even taking that into account it’s excellent value when you add the U18 and Women’s games too.
Am I nuts?

Am I nuts? I'd get one if I was you. £110 cheaper than paying the £14 advance price per game which means you are getting 7ish games 'free.' Add in the Premier League shutdown for the Qatar World Cup plus the numerous Brighton games that get moved for TV and I doubt you will miss too many Worthing games.

Hadn’t thought about the World Cup or the TV games so thanks! There were hardly any 3.00 Saturday KO’s last season after they were moved for TV as you say…..

So glad to see this thread on the forum as I was waiting for this news to be announced. £212 is really great value for a whole season's worth of games + Women's + U18. I'm used to Premier League prices so that's gone straight in the cart and purchased.
This will be my first season following as I moved down to Broadwater from London last year, though I've acquainted myself with the team via FM2022 during the winter getting a couple of successive promotions - fingers crossed for a repeat in real life.
Look forward to seeing the team live.

This thread is evidence of Keithsson's January call to arms coming into effect. The forum is thriving and now benefiting the club as well as us nosey fans who just want to know more! Let's keep this up!

Having purchased my ST this morning from the club website, I was somewhat confused and mildly alarmed by the confirmation message that stated the ST would be sent by email. I don't know if anyone else noticed this and wondered about it. I was afraid the ST would be on some kind of App that my poor ancient phone would not be compatible with. I called the club and spoke to Dave who investigated and got back to me confirming ST's will be issued as a plastic card as usual. The club have now reworded their confirmation information to reflect this. So if anyone was concerned, don't be. ST's are still in card form.

A reminder to all, if you haven't already taken advantage of the early bird offer... it expires at midnight ⏳
Personally I think they missed a trick not letting it run another couple of weeks. The week after next sees both the first friendly on the Tuesday and the fixtures come out on the Wednesday. A big push around those landmark events for the new season would, I'm sure, nudge several more over the line.
Would any waverers really pay full price once the window closes?

The next ST is #263... how does this compare to previous seasons in terms of numbers?

The next ST is #263... how does this compare to previous seasons in terms of numbers? Wow. Don't quote me because I'm only relying on grey matter here but i'm sure I remember being shocked a couple of years back that it was only about 50 or 60... definately in double figures only. If we're hitting those numbers then that's a big change in the buying habits of the fans.

That's me presuming the tickets started at 0 but that might not be the case?! Would just be an interesting comparison to measure fan growth
