Was one of only a handful of long time managers in that league. Lots more movement than we are used to! I guess this is the level where the 'cutthroatedness' begins and that is a worry.

Rumours elsewhere that Arsenal are moving their women's team out from Boreham Wood which would have a major impact on their finances

Now Taunton's match tonight at home to Maidstone is switched to Gloucester (change made this morning it seems!!!!) . Yes it was done as the National league insisted on it. If they hadn’t insisted on this, the game would have been off more likely. And in truth they can’t afford any more postponements. Fingers crossed now they can beat Maidstone

Just seen on X that Torquay have appointed administrators. So it is not good looking good for the club. Wonder if they get more points deducted

Wonder if they get more points deducted They won't. 10 points is the default sanction and that was imposed when they 'gave notice to appoint' administrators. Sad times for them, but the only way they'll get shot of Clarke Osborne and the best shot they have at having something left by the end of it all.

But they will be at risk of a demotion (though unlikely) if they aren't out of administration by the time of the League AGM in the summer

Hornchurch and Needham Market promoted to step 2, the latter likely to go to Connie North I would think

Slough have been awarded the points following their abandoned game against Bath City at the start of last month, though no goals to be awarded or deducted... This also (near enough) confirms that we will have at least one home match in the play-offs, as we can't finish lower than 5th now that Bath have had those three points denied them (unless Hampton overturn a 20-goal difference on us in their last 3 matches). It also appears that the FA are taking action against Bath regarding the abandonment.

Although the anomaly between Bath's games played and fixtures remaining had totally passed me by its good that its been resolved 😄
It isn't in our hands alone but from last season's experience we know the value of that bye to the SF's. Oxford looked much sharper and focused than us after our QF.
Not that a QF win is by any means guaranteed of course, given our propensity for random mindfart performances.
All we can do though is beat Saints and Weston and hope one of the other two (preferably both) don't yield a maximum return.

WSM is the key one considering they have to play 3 games that week so fingers crossed they'll be knackered by the time they head Woodside road

Chavant draw 0-0 with Welling and thus are relegated. Oh dear, how sad, never mind One local derby gone. And if Eastbourne go down as well I wonder who we will play over the festive period? Could be Dorking if we stay in NLS. Maybe Woking in we go up?
