3 points clear at the top now, the title is in their own hands (feet). Goals from Stan Berry (2) and Fred Chester securing the points in a good game this evening.

Quick update on the U18s:
On Sunday, they bombed out of the County Cup at the semi-final stage, to a committed, but not especially gifted Crawley Down Gatwick side. The sides had met earlier in the season, Worthing demolishing them 6-2 in the FA Youth Cup, but Sunday's fixture saw Nathan only able to name one sub, due to injuries, other unavailability and many of the first years being cup-tied as an U17 team was also entered in the same competition.
The lads bounced back last night in the league, though, two games in two days meant that several first years (Ellis, Frankie, Kai, Jed, Archie, Connor & Kristen) were given an opportunity, and they all acquitted themselves very well, away against an admittedly quite ordinary Horsham YMCA outfit, the final score being 11-0.
Next up is Bognor at home in the league on Tuesday 13th (7:45 KO), followed by a big game on the 20th, when Woking visit in the Isthmian Cup semi-final.

It was a cracking game last night, 3-2 is always my favourite score. Woking were for my money the best side the U18s have faced all season, and our lads were more than equal to the challenge. Great free-kick from Zac to level things just before HT, then relentless Worthing pressure in the second half, which eventually told when Jack, and then Evan, scored within a minute of each other. Woking then fought back impressively, and when they got their second with with 12 minutes left, it made for a tense and exciting conclusion to the game.
The final, vs Cray Valley PM, is provisionally scheduled for April 8th, at South Park FC.

Another emphatic win for our Under 18s last night. They've now scored 71 goals in 12 league games, and could potentially break the 100 mark with 6 league fixtures remaining

Sadly the lads fell just short, losing 2-1.
Disappointing but takes nothing away from another fantastic season 👏

The U18s have won the league title for the third season in a row. They have indeed - it was a poor performance last night in truth, but two great goals from Luke and Evan were enough to see off a well-organised Horsham outfit. Props to Nathan for doing the 'three-peat' And they are still going for their own 100 league goals, last night's tally didn't help much, but they need ten in their last two matches, away to Three Bridges (score at home was 7-0) and away to Hastings (score at home was 11-0), so it's not out of the question The lads do now qualify (again!) for the Isthmian Champion of Champions competition, where it looks like Met Police, Cray Valley and Woking or Camberley will be lying in wait...
