These things are always a kick in the love spuds and this feels no different.
To have a game like this against a team in very poor form as the first of the new era would likely have set us off on exactly the right footing.
Instead, barring another postponement on Monday, they'll start with just about the toughest fixture imaginable ☹

So disappointing as really wanted to see the team under the new boss(es) ASAP; in fairness, pretty sure Dartford feel the same too.
Kudos to Dartford for taking it seriously and arranging a pitch inspection at a sensible time that managed to prevent an unnecessary coach departure (and, from my own perspective, wasting money on a train tickets). Having seen a video on their groundsman's Twitter, it's pretty clear that their pitch is not in a good way!

"blessing in disguise" (time for the new manager to improve things)... The Dart(s) Board

Feel like this will be a huge Rebels turn out to back our new Management team. Cant wait, and i will be making to 400 mile round trip from Bury to show my support. I just hope my exile luck is better than Kentys You are just as much of a jinx as me but in a different way Bad luck mate, hope you were doing the journey on expenses

Postponed early enough though to maybe relocate to the LNER in York? 🤔

So pleased this was announced before the coach left this morning. So frustrated having been really up for this one.
Still.. Onto Monday.

But not early enough for laddo and his mates to catch the train prior to game being called off. How many times is that now!!!!!!!! Even the missus says that a decision should have been made earlier to stop the train using fans from making a wasted journey. And no, laddos journey with his mates was definitely not on expenses.

Results elsewhere today... Chelmsford won ( now five points behind them with a game in hand), Braintree drew and Bath was abandoned with them losing 4-2 🙄 We stay 3rd - Link
Hopefully with the game called off before the coach departed they improvised an extra training session somewhere, so while we kept ourselves ticking over Chelmsford knackered themselves out on a heavy pitch.
