I like the new Forum, but one question, what does Karma refer to in members' profiles?
I've never associated Buddhism with football, but I suppose Worthing did pay the price for their misdeeds in a former life (last season) and got 'reincarnated' into the lower division!

It's related to the "smite" and "exalt" options you can see next to other people's profiles. Basically it allows posters to rate each other, and on a very busy message board, shows newbies whose opinion is valued by the other posters.

Any kind of intentional action whether mental, verbal, or physical, is regarded as Karma. It's covered by the phrase "thought, word and deed". Generally speaking, all good and bad action constitutes Karma. Good posts are exalted, bad posts are smited, the end result is your karmic balance, negative or positive. I see Mr Scottish is well on his way to a juicy bit of Vipaka already.
Om mani padme hum, my brothers.
