Just wanted to be FIRST in starting the first football thread even if I did lift it from somewhere else. From the Argus: Comment Worthing joint-manager Danny Bloor has targeted maximum points over the Christmas period. The Rebels travel to Sittingbourne on Saturday, before facing a double derby against Eastbourne Town and Burgess Hill next week. Worthing are currently seventh but could move up to second with a hat-trick of wins. Bloor said: "This is a great chance for us to get nine points in seven days and we are looking to get all of them. "Sittingbourne beat us earlier in the season so we owe them one and the two derbies are always going to be good games. We are looking forward to them and want maximum points." Danny Davis, Ollie Rowland and Harry Constable, who missed out on making his debut last week due to illness, are doubtful with flu but Andy Alexander is available again.
