Having watched Horsham several times this year I took the opportunity of having a think whom from their side would fit into the Worthing team . Yes I know making comparisons is tricky different league etc etc but watching last night my train of thought did a quick reverse and I had deep concerns about whom from Worthing would start for Horsham. Imo out of all the summer signings including the loans etc , only Ricky and Nick would be definite starters .More worrying only Colbran , Lye and Pearce could be added to my list . Feel desperately sorry for Meeks , who is never going to start in front of Harding . Think this highlights our poor aquasisions this year and where we are as a club , hope ime wrong . 😷😷😷

Oh and if the club want a quality injury free left footed left back who lives local I suggest Harvey Sparks ( been here before you say ) (. Let go by Hinch you say) Don't Care Best left fullback in the Ishmian by a mile

Its obviously not definitive but our comfortable 0-3 friendly win in the summer showed we've made a step up that maybe we've not fully appreciated. Our quiet improvement since the ILPD days maybe goes some way to explain the higher number of 'misses' over 'hits' we've had this summer. Personally I wouldn't take any of theirs and grieve me though it does to say it, Meeks hasn't looked good enough to merit a recall either.
Joe Felix would definitely be a starter up there too.

Not really sure how comparisons can be easily made when the level the two teams are at is so different. However, to your list of Worthing players I believe Horsham would love to have Felix, Starkey, Rea and Wills. Add those to your list of Wheeler, Aguiar, Colbran, Rye and Pearce, that makes 9 Worthing players all of whom have NLS pedigree as opposed to ILPD. Not easy is it.

Oh, and you can surely add to that list Raccine and Cashman, which makes a full 11. The NLS has better attackers, defenders, midfielders and managers. I believe that Horsham have possibly three players that may get in the Worthing side. Carey, Hammond and Sparks. With regards to Reece Meekums (and I am a fan) if the Horsham manager felt he was a better player than Harding, then surely he would be picking him.

I know Roco has had his dodgy moments this season, but he is a much much better keeper than Carey.

Definitely not easy . Didn't consider Raccine for obvious reasons not sure either Cashman or Felix (love him to bits ) would be definite starters . Pre season saw a more than comfortable victory against Maidstone ( oh the irony) thanks for your views though food for thought !!! 😷😷😷

Horsham have strength in depth as a Step 3 squad but it isn't as good as the one we got promoted with. I'm convinced though, a fit Danny Barker would be playing at the back for us if Aarran had been injured earlier in the season. Danny was always chosen to replace Aarran in defence when he was absent for any reason. As for the rest, no, not for me. We play a rolling in left back, so Sparks wouldn't play. If you wanted a conventional local left back there are better around. Hutchings at Chichester for instance and remember Sparks has a red card in him!
