Another one of the "old guard" passes, one of us who, to paraphrase the chant, were there when we were not very good. Vic was part of the supporters' club committee in the 1990s, arranging events to help raise much-needed funds to keep the club going.
I'll miss his Don Read impression (newer supporters should ask an old-timer to explain this...) and shout of "someone injured?!" when an opposition player sliced the ball out of play.

Another sad loss, as pauld says, from the old guard.
There don't seem to be many left now

Vic was a fine supporter of Worthing Football Club of many years and indeed his involvement with the 1990's supporters club, deserves a mention as does the late great Don Read, a former club match secretary of Worthing Football Club.

Vic has been coming to Woodside Road for as long as I can remember and was here very recently at the Chelmsford game. Another one of the good ones gone. He will be missed enormously by us all.

Being the proud daughter of Vic Moss, I am so very grateful for all your lovely messages. Nothing would get in the way of his football! It was one of his life’s biggest passions aside from his wife - my mum Sue - his children, grandchildren - and garden!
RIP Dad - will forever miss you x

Fond memories of Vic during the Dark Ages of the mid-1990s. It was the unfailing support of stalwarts like him who helped keep the club afloat when it could easily have sunk without trace.
Many condolences to his loved ones.
