Same deal as for the Semi-Final... one single place for all the build up to the biggest game in Worthing FC's history.
We're not moving on from today's game already, tonight is a night to celebrate 🥳
But thoughts will inevitably soon shift to Monday week so this thread is set up as the place to start discussions about arrangements, tickets etc. once the hangover wears off 😎

It's in our hands now.
I'm holding on to it lightly but we won't get a better opportunity. I think we are ready for the next step the hunger and mentality is there.
However Braintree were one of the best sides I saw at Woodside this season when they beat us. They are a well organised tactical side. It won't be easy and could like the game today but we have the ability.

Even less tickets available with the TNT cameras around so hope everyone is on the ball during the ticket selling windows.
Bring it on.

Just had an email from the club to say that this time round there will be advanced opportunity for season ticket holders to purchase tickets ahead of general sale.
Details of exactly how it'll be done will follow in due course.
Now if it turns out to be a secret code released earlier than general sale (as per Maidstone's 'allocation process' for Sunday)... here's the etiquette 👍🏻
I don't believe for a second there is anyone on here who would do this but someone on their message board posted the 'secret' code. What is even worse, their moderators never took it down either 🤦♂️
The consequent 'pile on meant many people who were entitled to a brief priority window didn't get it.
If it is done the same way then, like I say, I'd be astonished if anyone on here sorted themselves out then put a big middle finger up to everyone else by letting the cat out the bag.
However, fairness, transparency and natural justice demands that if there's going to be consequences to doing something they should be explained beforehand. So...
Any links put up will be removed immediately and the users account will be suspended... at least until the ticket sales window has closed but longer if its a totally blatant knowing act.
We are proud of our very light touch moderation policy on here so this isn't suggested lightly. But we're better than Maidstone, so please don't let the side down 🙏🏻

I understand that there will also be another pop-up ticket office at the club for those without the technology. No details yet.

I appreciate that the club is new to dealing with sell outs, but even EFL clubs who have experience of big games, frequently get it wrong and alienate or anger many of their fans. It’s obviously right that season ticket holders get priority, but I hope they can’t buy unlimited numbers of tickets for their mates who rarely if ever turn up to games. A max of 2 tickets per season ticket holder would seem sensible.

It has been a fraught morning of negotiations at Kenty Towers as one resident had the idea that we were going out with friends to a Point-to-Point race meeting next Monday; I've no idea whose daft suggestion that was Anyway, after much tooing and froing Royal Permission has been granted for another excursion down south. The exact terms of the agreement i.e. quantities of housework to be done, number of bouquets to be purchased etc etc are yet to be set but who cares Many thanks again to Robin for the ticket yesterday and for promising to sort out Monday, seriously I'm so grateful

The problem is my son’s season ticket (11) is assigned to my email as that was the only option. So does that mean I can only buy 1 ticket? Doesn’t seem fair as we attended every single home game and a quite a few away games? Not saying we deserve it more than others but why should we lose out to the glory hunters?

Wouldn't you just get two emails though?, mildly irritating to have to do ticketing twice, but it beats the alternative. worthingwire is right though, accompanying children aside, there's no good reason to have more than one ticket each. In the big leagues where allocated seating exists it's necessary as groups would be split up all over the place otyerwise. But with terraces and unreserved seating you just need to get through a turnstile. But hey, we're just spitballing at the moment though, we don't know the system/rules they'll be using. And as a general observation though, what a nice problem to be having. We've not sold out in recent memory (ever?) so who'd have thought at the beginning of the season, or even a month or so ago when results were pish, that there'd be two lock-outs coming our way 😯

But if memory serves me right there are less season tickets in use than you think. Just have to wait and see what happens

Ha ha, that made me twitch initially... "what d'ya mean you got an email, have I missed something?" 😱
🤣
Judging by the number of cards in boxes on the table when the last lot of ST's were being given out in the summer there are a lot more ST holders than there used to be.
Surprised there aren't more though, especially with the early bird deal they do. But then not everyone clears their schedules for every Worthing home fixture I guess.
Might be worth considering for some next season if we go up. With big away followings and a possible out of action North Side for a while, reduced capacity could mean a few sell-outs for league games.

I see what you mean, but if there are two season tickets assigned to your email address, then it should surely be the case that you are able to buy one match ticket for each season ticket registered to that email address? That would still be one per season ticket holder as I suggested. Whether or not this turns out to be the case, I don't know, but I do agree that yourself and your son shouldn't miss out given your commitment all season long.

To be honest not really sure how it will work yet. And I think it gives the club a headache as well. Nice reason to have one but still. Looking at the positive side at least they have decided to give season tickets holders first dips at tickets. But I do agree it shouldn’t be a free for all when we can get tickets. Some common sense should be applied by everyone. But I spoke to several people on Sunday and they happily told me they were neutrals/groundhoppers. So not a real interest in the home team. But I know of people who go home and away who missed out. And I feel for those fans. But let’s see what the second email will tell me tomorrow when and how many tickets I can buy.
