When these kind of incidents happen in a game, it puts into perspective all the other "stuff" that seemed so important at the time. Thanks to Roger for his organisation of the collection. Naturally everyones thought are with Herves family and friends at this difficult time for them.

Just a quick note that you, the supporters, raised £180. In case anyone is interested, I sent the letter below with the money
"RINGMER FOOTBALL CLUB The Caburn Ground Anchor Field Ringmer Lewes East Sussex BN8 5QN
To all our friends at Ringmer FC
RE: Herve King
Like so many others around non-league football we were devastated to hear your very sad news. Our thoughts go out to you all and especially to Herve’s family and friends. As a mark of respect for Herve, we have decided to donate the takings from our Supporters tea hut from the home match immediately following the tragic events (v Walton & Hersham) to any fund that you may have set up to help his family or for some sort of memorial. That along with a donation box on the counter has yielded £180 and I am pleased to forward the cheque to you to do with as you see fit.
Can I ask you also to pass our heartfelt condolences on to Herve’s family, from all at Worthing FC.
Yours Sincerely"
Once again, thank you all for your contributions.

And I've got a very nice letter back from Ringmer too which I'll display on the Hut on Saturday but if anyone wants a copy, just PM me and I'll bring it down.
