There's a short piece on the O.S. in yesterdays match round up stating Ollie Rowlands has left the club. Nothing has been mentioned in the Argus this week (as far as I know?). Soooo?..what is the deal there? I believe we never saw the best of him after he was used as a make-weight in the problem left back position. He always looked uncomfortable there imo. Both Joe Keehan and Enzo Benn look able enough in the full back roles, but neither is a natural left footer and both look far more comfortable on their natural right sides. The hunt for somebody to fill Sonny Cobbs boots still continues.

Is a shame, but thank you Ollie Rowlands for what you've done, and may you have better luck at your next club.

Rumours like that must be untrue. If this was really happening then surely these players would be making it public or speaking to authorities wouldn't they?

What's the point in making it public ? ...last months money is two weeks late and counting... And it seems the attitude is if you don't like it F off...

may you have better luck at your next club. What is his next club? Just to echo the opinion, yes it is a real shame that another player is added to the stream of quality that has left Worthing FC this season.

Ollie is never a forward. His best position is centre midfield. I remember when he was signed we were told he was striker? Although all our players were midfielders at one time, so that works ;D

I've heard the same rumour that the players haven't been paid for the last 4 weeks from a couple of different sources recently. I thought all our money troubles were meant to be behind us?

If it's true it's worrying and puts a very downward spin on our play off efforts.
Surely we have the money. After all, there aren't that many other outgoings and we've two loanees and a load of youngsters who won't be on much out of our first team squad of 16 or 17.
If the players truly are not getting paid, where are out £8's going?

From nonleaguedaily.com: "Ryman League Division One South club Burgess Hill Town have completed the signing of former England under-18 player Ollie Rowland from league rivals and neighbours Worthing. The talented utility man, who spent a year on contract at Crystal Palace in his younger days, was all set at Christmas to return to Leylands Park where he was a one-time youth player. But he had second thoughts and decided then to stay at Woodside Road." There's a report on a Welling game on there too, goal scored by Sam Gargan who's pictured in a Worthing shirt. www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/index.php?&newsmode=FULL&nid=48949
