It would be interesting to know what people think our current stongest team is, and what it would be if we had no injuries. Mine are below.Currently: Banks
Keehan Axten Douglas Benn
Johnson Akehurst Kirkwood Skinner/Hughes
Andrews Brotherton Without injuries: Banks
Pook Axten Douglas Keehan
Phelan Akehurst Kirkwood Skinner/Hughes
Andrews Brotherton/Hudson I think that Enzo Benn is a good prospect for the future, but I wonder if he is ready to play every game consistently yet. Roy Pook did a solid job at right back, and although he would be better suited on the wing, we already have plenty of wide players. I can't decide whether Lloyd Skinner or Jerahl Hughes is better yet, but it will depend on how long we can keep them for. Akehurst and Kirkwood are both playing solidly in the centre and therefore I would keep it like this, but Ben Johnson isn't quite hitting the form that he had earlier in the season. I think we will have to wait and see with him. Hopefully we will see some more of Richard Hudson next season. He could form a good partnership with Ben andrews upfront, but I wonder where Jamie brotherton would fit in then, as he has been playing really well lately. Whatever league we are in next season, we could see some really good things coming from this squad of players, the sort of thing we would have seen this year if it wasn't for injuries, and our dip in form.

Just a quickie... but Ben Johnson isn't quite hitting the form that he had earlier in the season. I think we will have to wait and see with him. Ben J had a very good game in midfield last night at Ringmer, in the thick of the action for long periods and distributing the ball well.

Both line-ups have had Keehan at left back? Don't you want him to stay?

But you must remember this was in a reserves match, and obviously this isn't quite at the same standard. Although it may look it, the chances are it is not. For example, a Fulham player has a good game against Birmingham, does he get in the Man United team? Probably not. And the reason for Keehan being at leftback is simply because of his flexability. I feel he is a player who had the ability to play in that position and if they wanted him back after losing him once, then surely they wouldn't get rid of him again would they?

Enzo played at left back in reserves final, and looked solid. I think atm he's do good there, and in the long run i can see roy coming off the bench as winger where he has looked better than at full back.

I can see that too, but Enzo may take time to become a full time replacement to Sonny Cobbs.
