I read this in the match report of the Resrves games vs Selsey on the OS: "Jack Reeder looks like he will be a very useful acquisition for Worthing and has already signed for the first team (a number of clubs will be beating a pathway to his door)."
Apparently, he was previously at Brighton. From what Mr Google can tell me, he appears to be a Brighton youth team player who has played for Sussex U16's this season - and already signed for our first team? Any Seagulls fans (or more knowledgable Rebels fans) able to shed any light?
A slight side issue (but also slightly related), do we still appear to have communication issues between the big cheeses and the brown ale fans? Why is the signing of a new player from a professional club tucked away in the match report of a reserve game? And why haven't the club said anything official about the possibility of a groundshare? So many questions...

Jim, the seagulls site suggests that he is a school boy as well. There is a Jack Reeder that goes to Boundstone CC. He is in year 11 and fancies himself as the next great thing in football (in fact he just fancies himself). Six footer with an attitude. Looks strong and fit, a non-academic.

Apparently this Davidson lad is meant to be promising as well, Jim, as official reserve scout, any ideas on how good he is? Maybe worth a place on the bench, or starting against Ashford if we win our next two. `

No, it's not. That's why if the Ashford game is a dead rubber, which fingers crossed it will be, he might be worth a run out to avoid J Bro or Ben Andrews getting injured or sent off perhaps?

If Ashford is a dead game I would change the whole starting 11 and give those likely to be on the bench 90 mins as well as "da youf". could also give away a pen in the last min, bring Rikki on for it as practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
