Tonight's win means Sittingbourne are out of the race.
At present four points will clinch a play-off spot for us, although with our superior goal difference, one more win should be enough!

Excellent first half with a Ben Johnson hat-trick (his first goal was their keeper's first of many unforced errors) and and Andy A goal. Second half quieter, a consolaton headed goal for them before a confusion between keeper and defender left Pullers an open goal. Superb result, well done boys.
There may have been an element of good fortune in that we got to play them when they had one eye on Wembley, but chances were made and taken well. It could have been 6 or 7 - 1 to be honest. Unless Corinthian-hyphen-Casuals raise their game significantly for the big occasion, the Wombles could have a pleasant afternoon.

Good solid all round performance from the team. These guys just can not stop scoring at the moment, they really have a buzz about them at the moment.
It was good to see subs used for more than 5 minutes tonight with Morrow Chris Morrow getting 45 minutes. and Puller's getting nearly 30 minutes. James Hancock had a good period when he came, which was well deserved as I thought he played a brilliant match for the reserves on Wednesday.
Its weird to see 5 goals scored and none from our regular front 2. As usual though Puller's come on for Andrews and scores.
Does anyone know why Skinner was not on the bench tonight.
I think we need to start experimenting on the Right Wing in the next two matches (if we have a comfortable lead) because unless i'm mistaken both Hughes' and Skinners loans run out before the play offs!!!!
Lastly good to see the O/S has announced Jamie Brotherton as Player of the Month for March, couldn't see it going any other way.

I believe that we have Hughes for the rest of the season, including the play-offs, at least thats what i remember.
Anyone clarify this?

I've no idea about the terms of the loan. I suspect we would have them for the play-offs though. Even if the worst was to happen, we have a ready made quality right sided player in Pullers. The last thing we need to do at this stage of the season is experiment. We had enough of that in December and January, thank you very much.

My understanding is that we have Hughes for the play offs but that Skinners loan finishes after Walton Casuals next week.

Rumour had it that Loyd Skinner was a bit miffed about having to sit on the bench. He certainly had a bit of a hissy-fit when he was pulled off against Dover.

Players go on loan in order to get some games under their belt, not to spend them sitting on the bench. The team shouldn't put him on just for the sake of it though, the team has to come first.
