The squad is looking strong, so while we wait for news on the question... 'who will be our goalkeeper?', I wonder which players are next to step up from the academy and youth ranks? We have quality, but arguably less depth so... I'm keen to see Chadwick and Livesey-Austin be trusted as cover. Does Kyle o'Brien have more chances? Brad Dologan was scoring goals for fun - is it his turn? Is anyone else in the mix? Kyle played for Bognor in their pre-season friendly yesterday. No idea if he's been loaned to them or he's gone there permanently.

I think he went there pre-season last year too but didn't break through. Could be wrong but it rings a bell...?

Shucks, it seems we've missed out on signing the G.O.A.T. 🤣 Love this from Awayboys Fanatics 👏🏻 (play it with sound)... Sent off last night in a pre-season friendly for punching a Farnborough player in a "22-man brawl"

Solid and consistent player for us, rarely lost the ball but hamstrings made of jelly?

Solid and consistent player for us, rarely lost the ball but hamstrings made of jelly? Agreed, there was a brief spell when he was mustard but he's had no luck at all with injuries. Struck me as more of a defender than a midfielder but that's not where Hinsh wanted him. With the positive early showing from Joe Felix and Michael Klass in the middle, with Kane still to come back plus Jessie getting up to speed, central midfield options would've been overloaded with Barks too.

Being really honest if we had to lose players from last season I would have picked Barker. I thought when we won the league he was brilliant. But last season a lot of injuries and when he played I thought he wasn’t great. Could be because he never got a run of games. But clearly not featuring in Adam’s plans for this season.

Was a big player in the promotion season and filled that role there, but NLS was a step beyond his hamstrings!

Several unnecessary "modern football" type comments here - we are not that club yet surely!
A fantastic player and great servant for Worthing FC. He will be missed and I wish him all the best for the future.

Good luck to him wherever he ends up, I think he's NLS standard personally, so will be interested to see where he goes. Havant...?

I also wish him well as I would any other player leaving but I'm not sure I can remember any big moments/strong performances from him last year.

Personally, I am gutted to see Danny leave although as has been mentioned with Wills, Felix, Starkey and Klass as midfielders he maybe thinks his game time will be diminished. I believe that Danny is one of those players that every team needs. He does all the nitty gritty work that often goes unnoticed by all but his teammates and coaching staff. Wherever he ends up playing, they will be getting a quality footballer. Good luck Danny for the future..
