Well, that narrows it down! I have found out who it is now, I expect he'll be 'announced' soon. You can’t leave us hanging here! 😂 give us a clue please

Cryptic crossword clue: Twist before old woodworker (6, 6) Just seen this and at the same time the announcement of the club. Another Southampton player. My boy will be happy. But that really makes me think that Rocco’s time will be limited at the club. Southampton will not send a player out on loan to sit on the bench unfortunately

Well, that narrows it down! If history is anything to go by the new tall person most likely will be warming up tomorrow before the game. Same as Josh did at Eastbourne Think he'll be starting rather than warming up.

Was hoping Rocco would get the opportunity to rebuild his confidence. This will kill him!

Was hoping Rocco would get the opportunity to rebuild his confidence. This will kill him! I am not disagreeing with you. But in the end of the day Adam has to pick what he thinks is the strongest side. And unfortunately some people will be disappointed.

Of course I forgot that we can now break one, send it back and get another so it doesn't matter. A consumable to some but for me, Rocco is a local lad representing my community.

I don’t know what you are reading into my comment. Let it be clear I have never been a great fan of Rocco. Not at his first spell at the club or when he came back this season. But when he is/was playing I always supported him like I do every player wearing the Worthing shirt. I don’t see players as consumables. However I do want Worthing to play the best players possible to achieve promotion this year. And with that certain actions have consequences. Unfortunately that is the way it goes in football/sport.

Rebellious, a lot of your posts seem to have a common theme. You like to sometimes call them rhetorical or objective I read some of them as being critical and of course you as a supporter are entitled to your opinion as am I. In my opinion Worthing FC are doing things in the right way both on and off the pitch. As the team manager if Adam feels that he needs another goalkeeper or any player in any position then that is fine by me, I absolutely trust his judgement. The lack of a 2nd quality goalkeeper may well have cost us in the play off at Oxford last season. I like Rocco and he is a very good shot stopper but without question he has made errors this season and in his position an error invariably leads to a goal. He can also sometimes seems flustered with ball at his feet, which is an essential skill for a goalkeeper at Worthing and the way we play. Whoever Adam selects for the next game will have my whole hearted support.

There’s no room for sentiment in professional football, the manager has to take difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions that he thinks best for the team and club. All the players must know that.

I have no skin in this game but for my money the most egregious goalkeeping error this season was by Jeffries at home to Slough.

I do agree with this, but Rocco made several in a game at Home to Dartford that we should have comfortably won, and also in the last few ganes since Josh came in, we have looked a better and more composed side and the back 4 look more relaxed with Josh playing in goal! Like others have said its never going to be perfect and please everyone, but I do trust the judgement of the management team to make tough calls and make the right tough calls!

Outfield players make as many, if not more errors than keepers but the latter tend to be more obvious and can lead directly to goals.
I would hate to be a manager having to drop a player but all footballers know that this is part and parcel of the game; it's the way you respond to it that can define you and your career
