What's the chances of a get together at Woodside instead of elsewhere, i used to look forward to it at Woodside, after all ,its our fanbase, not elsewhere.

Should we win the Play-offs then there is a match being played at Woodside the next day.
Its will be a 90 minute battering of the Commercial and Corperate Sponsors, by a mixture of the youth and Backroom staff.
Being a Sunday and the match is a friendly then I imagine there will be know charge to enter, unless their is a Charity Charge, as i am not sure if it is going to be played as a charity event. If it is then then we could get a £1 charge on the door and do the usual ticket comps on the gate, with ALL proceeds going to a Chosen Charity, Get Richard up in the box playing his funky grooves and we have our own "Party in The Ground"
If they can get there first team along (win or lose that week) then we could make a good Sunday out of the event.
Anyone got any other suggestions?

i suppose it will be the same again, come the last match it will end up as ,goodbye and see you next season , the club don't want to socialise with supporters, will we ever be united, the club seem want to go their own way and isolate us,i wish i knew why.

I do hope that is not the case.
i know the commercial guy and will have a word with him in the morning as this is his first end of season with the team and see what he says the club may or may not do!!!

There was an end of season do last year, but was poorly attended by supporters and club officials. I reckon most of the first team, Danny Bloor, Morty etc were there, and 35-40 supporters - 60 odd people in all? Maybe JJ or Al can confirm if my figures are out, but for a club that has 250-300 regular supporters, I'd consider that a poor turn out.
Not deliberately trying to be controversial here, and prepared to be shot down in flames, and I know we'd just been relegated so there didn't seem a lot to celebrate, but if an event is organised and not attended it might make people think twice about doing it again this year?

It was about 80 people overall. Of course, the mood at the end of the season didn't help, and a few more people coming along would have helped, but it was a decent enough event I think. We have talked about doing something this year too, but as ever it comes down to having enough people around to organise and put effort towards it - believe me it isn't through lack of will or thought. There may be something small and convivial coming along.....

...but it was a decent enough event I think. Absolutely, hope I didn't come across as insinuating otherwise.
