I'd change "THE REBELS" to "WORTHING FC" because there is no mention of football on there otherwise.
Just my opinion though.

The idea for the sign is to go inside the ground after the turnstyles to greet people as they arrive the size approx 5' by 4'.
If that changes your mind? The first idea did actually say Worthing FC, but if we though if we were going to use it just inside the ground it would be their to intimdate the Oposition Fans!!!

Yes, that does change things somewhat! Leave it as it is in that case

I do like both signs, especially the one at the front of the ground which looks fantastic. A lot better than the old, wooden ones there.
A new, smart fixtures board might be nice too, a bigger one that can be easily seen by passers by.

A new, smart fixtures board might be nice too, a bigger one that can be easily seen by passers by. You'll be asking for an electronic display (as Pissing Pan) outside the ground and a smart electronic scoreboard (as Butlins) inside next. Are you never satisfied? Oh and I like the proposed sign inside but still not sure about the outside one.

I like both, but the outside sign NEEDS the phone number in the same font as the main lettering.
Number recognition and all that....

Ah don't start me on scoreboards! Anyone who needs to be reminded of the score probably shouldn't be at the match!

Discussed this yesterday with some people about the number added to the end.
Would shrink the size of the sign if we did that as the Rosemary Conneley Diet Board is in place and Paid up until whenever.
Also if we move our office there then we will have our own bussiness sign up aswell at the left hand side of the Main Picture anyway.
Also some people will link the number to club, not my company, and will ring us instead of the club. You know how silly some people can be!!!!
Fixturesboard is at a disscussion stage, which i suppose is better than the "thinking about it stage".
Jerry Ramsdem has thrown around the idea of a Scoreboard inside. I think this level is a league to early might inspire oposition to score more, so they get put up in lights!!!!!
Electronic Subs Number board could be considered possible!
hmmmmmmmmmmmm I Wonder if i could ......................................................... you never know

That looks pretty cool me thinks ;D For inside the ground this does looks very good indeed. My jury is out on the one on the front of the ground; I like the font but am not sure about the look - though it is difficult to get a real idea of what it will end up like from the photo. Jon, what is to become of the current Woodside Road signage?

Knowing some atthe club it might go to the highest bidder or simply lay around the side for a couple of years!!!!
What in particular are you after??

We (primarily Jon J) did a lot of reasearch around electronic scoreboards over the last close season, and what you are looking at is around £3k per season to run. Obviously, the best way of setting this up is through commercial sponsorship of the board, which must be long-term. It could be good if done properly, but musn't be a flash in the pan that becomes a white elephant.

I have to say £3k a year can be spent on something far better than what's basically a big digital watch.
I'd much rather use the money on ground improvements like better covering or making the terracing a bit safer and less bumpy. If sponsorship is an issue as well, the money could be raised by simply naming the stand after whoever stumps up for it or something?
I reckon the ground needs more basic improvements before we go for something as frivelous as a scoreboard.
