I have to say £3k a year can be spent on something far better than what's basically a big digital watch. I'd much rather use the money on ground improvements like better covering or making the terracing a bit safer and less bumpy. If sponsorship is an issue as well, the money could be raised by simply naming the stand after whoever stumps up for it or something? I reckon the ground needs more basic improvements before we go for something as frivelous as a scoreboard. I agree, no need for any kind of board until conference south level at least

Knowing some atthe club it might go to the highest bidder or simply lay around the side for a couple of years!!!! What in particular are you after?? Was wondering if there was a place for the old sign on the wall in the bar, as part of the history of the club like some of the old shirts. If not an auction, for the benefit of charity would be a nice thing to do.

Thats a great idea Sparky.
Just so long as the Woodside Road Sign doesn't crumble as it is taken down.
If it doesn't then putting in insue the club (once treated) is a lovely thought.
Maybe for those who are not that happy about the stadium changing its name (again) I could talk to the Board and see about changing the Name of the main bar to "The Woodside Bar" or something similar! What do you think?
