Have skimmed over A LOT of brochures and found a kit that I would like opinions on please.
Having read all of the comments so far i like the idea of going back to the history of the Kit and have found the following;
Red Kit with Dark Blue Strip Running down outside of the Arms and down the side of the Shirt.
Matching Red Shorts and Socks with the manufacturers "tick" in white on each item. (give away who its by)
Reverse on the Away Kit, Dark Blue Top Red Strip down Arms and Side with Matching Dark Blue Shorts and Socks with white "tick" on each Item.
This covers a lot of request from fans so far!
Bringing back tradition The Red, White & Blue in the Strip Exactly the reverse on the Away Strip
Am not stopping the search yet will keep looking so keep sugestion coming in please

Yes, but the blue shouldn't overpower the white. A red and blue kit with a white trim will just look like Palace or Hampton & Richmond. If the blue and white can't be equal after the red, then white should take precedence as "second" colour.
The away kit can be anything, but I feel very strongly that the home kit's colours are 1) red, 2) white, 3) blue in that order!

Found those ideals to.
We will be putting Mock-ups on here over time and Anyone who sees me on Saturday or after can ask me to discribe it better.
It is no stripped. Will not look like Palace, I would make sure of that.

Reading the various suggestions the picture I build in my head is almost an ajax-style kit, with slightly wider main red colouring, and a thinner blue strip down the very side of the arms and shorts.

I think our away kit should be black...always makes the players look bigger and more intimidating.

It definately won't look like palace, as we're wearing a sash shirt next season, with a nice brasil shirt as the away. www.football-shirts.co.uk/fans/0809-palace-shirts-vote_532

Home one's quite nice actually. Very dapper. With away ones look pretty rough though I must admit. It's more Sweden than Brazil.

At Wimbledon, every time we have a new kit, we have a competition open to all fans to design it. A kit outline (template) is put on the 'net' (with printed versions for people to take at the ground) and fans use this to submit their ideas. A fan/management group choose the best few and then the fan-base vote for the winner. The winning designer gets a tour of the factory (in Italy in our case) to see their design being made and are given a full kit.
Maybe this would be a good way for Worthing FC to allow the fans to get more involved. Improved relationships could lead to more volunteers to help out the club, encourage more fervent support from the terraces and encourage more sponsors and media anticipation.
If the competition was run through the local press (colour in the template and send in) you would guarantee publicity through the off season and maybe attract more fans. Logos would need to be placed on the template ready for placement on the design, giving publicity to both sponsor and shirt maker.
A junior kit could be given to the best entry by under 16's or under 10's (or both) even if they don't win the main competition. You could get local schools involved with this (tutor or art lessons, free family ticket to the first home game for best of school/class), thus increasing your profile and helping towards your community club status.
Just an idea, but as you lot are the ones who the club would like to buy and wear any new kit, surely it would be in the clubs and sponsors interests to encourage you to feel it is YOUR kit as much as possible.
