This is so daft, we know about the share, Hornets know about the share, EVERYONE knows about the share except those who rely on WFC for info.
Maniac, who I have no reason to disbelieve (well no one from the club will tell us the figures) is the one to tell us the finances. The way this matter is being dealt with is ridiculous, someone at the club please get a grip on reality, keeping schtum is no longer an option.

More info, we were third choice to ground share. Also, Horsham fans are looking into using their bar until the lease runs out instead of ours. Don't know the outcome of this yet.

More info, we were third choice to ground share. So what, hardly surprising if true. Horsham is 20 miles away and if I were them, I'd want somewhere closer. I have to assume that the first 2 options either were not acceptable to the league or told Horsham to go away. Up to them - if it's feasible, I wouldn't blame them but I'm not quite sure how it works on match days - do you grab 2 pints then piss off down the A24. Makes some sense after the Saturday games for them but it probably means they won't be drinking with the other teams fans. It might matter to some of them I'm very surprised that we are giving that information out. I would have wanted it kept confidential were I Horsham (or indeed Worthing for that matter). It really doesn't have anything to do with us just so long as the money is put to good use. I would certainly hope to see a large chunk of it put into supporter facilities.

Put this info on to show that some clubs keep their fans infomed, something Worthing have never seemed inclined to do in my time of being a supporter, and that's a long time.

To be able to quote such specifics you must have been talking to someone pretty high up at WFC - board level probably. To leak this sort of information is highly unprofessional and certainly wasn't the message being conveyed by Alan and co at the recent board meeting. Who could it be

Put this info on to show that some clubs keep their fans infomed, And just what club is that - I've seen no evidence that the other club potentially involved in the ground share was quoting specifics - it strikes me as pretty crap business ethics if they (or someone connected with WFC) make such statements. Perhaps we could be directed to the Hornet source

Maniac I wouldnt worry about it - you are simply directing us in the direction of information which is now in the public domain. I seriously think the loss of Brighton would be a real downer after the relationship we have built over many years, and the pre season friendly would be a big big miss. As for Bromley/Cray/Palace, it could just be that there are rules which can be interpreted in different ways. I don't read 7 games as being 'resident' at our ground, but if the league see it differently then so be it. Keep the faith

To put your minds a rest I have it on good authority that the Brighton Pre-season Friendly has never and will never be linked with the Reserve Team.
It is done between Club Contacts, Manly Alan's. So there is no reason to worry.
The preson fixture just need the date setting and that is it.

Good to hear, B&HA have for many years supported their neighbouring non-league clubs with friendly games; I see no reason what they would wish to change that regardless of where their own reserve team happen to play their league games.
