I thought it was pay per view, £9.50 per match, or am I mistaken? You're not mistaken, it is £9.50 per match (or per package as described earlier). Unfortunately I’d imagine the majority of potential viewers probably have access to a fire stick so that blows the £9.50 out of the water.

I don't do fraud so i'm speculating but I'm not entirely sure if that actually works with NLTV. Its not 'broadcast' in other territories as the EPL/EFL is, so its more of a 'closed loop' sort of feed... isn't it? You either pay for it, or you don't get it. Willing to stand corrected by anyone who has managed to watch it for free... but I rather suspect they'd keep that to themselves!

Off topic, but still NLS. Welling United sacked Danny Bloor after their win yesterday. It seems they did the deed by telephone whilst Danny was driving home. Classless act it seems to me.

When we played Oxford City last year, I was away at my place in Spain, given it was quiet on that Sunday my local in La Cala were able to access and show the whole game 🙈

I duly stand corrected then.

And that includes national league. As I have seen it myself. They pay around £55 a year and can watch any game they want. Is it legal? Most likely not.but I can understand people doing as the cost of watching sport is just ridiculous. And then have it on 3 different providers? But that is a complete different discussion

To even discuss NLTV in the same breath as live non league football does a disservice to the game. I appreciate that some can't watch some games, but it is no different than rebel yell, Twitter/X or following on footballwebpages.com (rebel yell being a positive club solution)
It's not like plastic fans bring in £millions to the club through merch etc. There are many ways to follow the and I'm certainly not going to promote a hierarchy of fans either. However, fans at the ground is what we need and where we have to work to realize the potential for the club and the town.

Danny Bloor sacked by Welling United after winning at Hemel. (By phone on the journey home 🙈) Not really fair but that unfortunately is football 🤷♂️ Rod Stringer, ex Braintree and Chelmsford, named as the new manager. Coincidentally there is a fair bit of speculation around as to the future of Welling regarding ground redevelopment, possible sharing in the interim at Tonbridge etc etc

What did they expect? That they would run away with the league again? Sometimes I think these clubs are very unrealistic in what they can achieve in the league above. I spoke with Harrison Male just before Xmas at Dorking and he said the step up from NLS to National league is massive!

I spoke with Harrison Male just before Xmas at Dorking and he said the step up from NLS to National league is massive! Many of their fans expected play offs at the very least and put their problems down to poor recruitment. Their forum is an odd place at times, no worries about what problems their accumulated debts could cause, no worries about their ex Chairman going bankrupt (but his family retaining control), loads of gripes about playing style and a fanbase regularly having a go at each other.

More from the Connie South rumour mill; it is being said that Truro have been binned/are leaving their ground share with Plymouth Parkway and moving in at Taunton within days.
Watch this space

Watch this space That would not surprise me one bit, Parkway alone will struggle to fulfil their home fixtures in time on THAT pitch. I would feel for Truro though in that situation. Needs must but that would be the equivalent of us playing our home games in Yeovil. It would seem to be mutually beneficial though... Truro desperately need a pitch, Taunton desperately need income.

Can't see things going any better for them at Taunton either with how many problems they've had with it. I do wonder how long Truro will be able to cope at this level or even the one below with all travel they have to do plus the minimal attendances
