He'll be looking to move on when they are relegated... sooner even if he doesn't fit the new managers plans/style. And with us simultaneously moving through semi-pro towards a pro squad too?... ...stranger things have happened. PS - On the good/bad attendance discussion, the sub 1,000 last night dropped us two places to 8th for home attendances, still above average for the league... NLS Attendances 23/24 - Link I'd take him in a heartbeat, quick, direct, good in the air, quick feet! He's something we don't have!! As mentioned earlier Luer looks so shirt on confidence! He actually got into some good positions when he came on last night, but you could sense others didn't want to pass to him! Maybe 2 months at say Whitehawk or Lewes would help bost him up? Something we don't have is a 'proper' centre-back apart from Joe Rye. If the squad needs adding to, it's surely got to be in this area of the pitch. We were thin here at the outset of the season, now we're positively skeletal.

This is a valid point, Glen Rea isn't going to be available untill Christmas now aswell!
Question is, where do we go and get someone with Aaron's experience and NLS quality? Without breaking the bank aswell!

Good to see our Danny and Ollie, 2 of our inventive, technical players in the starting XI last night. Certainly made a difference attacking wise compared to Saturday as we had more movement.
Havant looked a poor side totally devoid of any confidence and without a decent display by their keeper the scoreline would have been greater - only their keeper and the late sub, Roberts, looked like they actually wanted to put in a shift. Great first goal, wonderful cross by the consistent Nicky headed home by the excellent Kane. Scrappy 2nd after a scramble from a corner and an accurate finish from Danny secured a welcome 3 points.
3 other observations : What were the gold numbers and lettering on Havant shirts all about? Thought it looked awful although the poppy emblem was a nice touch. Are our floodlights not very good? Looked particularly gloomy in the South West corner of the pitch. Why was there no silence before the game as it our closest home fixture before Remembrance Sunday?

Very valid point, we have a good knack of picking up good players from the lower reaches of the league! Someone with some added height would be a bonus as we aren't the tallest team
