Gary had an interview with Pete and said the 2 reds were decisions we gave the ref to make. Pled the 5th on Hinsh's though ๐

Ruben 3 Joel 1 Hinch no idea ! Their lot saying the best team lost Really? ๐ท . They are a funny lot! If we won 1-0 I could understand them saying that. But 4-1!!! And 3 goals scored with 10 men! Think we know who the best team was ๐

5 hours on the train due to a point's failure... thankfully made it for kick off!! Not a bad ground this! The journey back seems just as bad. No connection at Southampton meant an hours wait. Laddo due back at 10 so looking forward to getting his take on the match.

Wow excellent 3 points today with 9 players!
Well done boys fantastic spirit and good tatics from the Hinsh today also. It sounds like we had a good shape to the team which is great. I mean Ollie must be the best striker in the whole of the NL there is no stopping him ! I'm thinking 40+ goals this season the way he is going ๐

Well that was one fantastic performance. Forget all the normal sensational media headlines about 9 man Worthing winning. We were 10 men for 75 minutes, going down to 9 in the 97th minute when 4-1 up, so a little silly of Joel to pick up his second yellow. However, this result was just further evidence of the character we have in the squad. Another tactical masterclas in the immediate reaction from Adam with the substitution and change of shape, and the change when Michael Klass picked up his first yellow. To win 4-1 away from home with a man short is a real statement of intent.

We played really well. I was shocked how unfit at times Weymouth seemed, disinterested at points as well or did we just make it look easy?
Ollie's chip was outrageous. Top goal.
Special shout-out to Wadham for me today, bossed the midfield, he's made a real difference to our balance since coming in. Superstar.
Onto Tuesday.

Oh and forgot to mention Ollie Wright....
Very assured playing out from the back, a couple of superb saves and brilliant presence in the goal let's hope that continues as it seemed like he'd been here an age.
Think that ends the goalie debate.

Nice to hear the tactics and change of personnel being recognised alongside the grit of the players. Decisive and timely. We've thrown away lesser challenges, but strong leadership from the sidelines has clearly helped maintain our focus and purpose throughout. Well done Hinsh et al.

And still no mention of the Adam red card. All laddo saw was ref go over and give a red card. No idea why? ? Laddo fully agrees with all posts above.

Brief overview of the game
Great deft finish from Danny for the 1st goal, showing his class and his link up play with Ollie is telepathic now, he's really stepped up since we lost Ricky!
Ruben's Red card... not sure it was red but the challenge didn't look good so I suppose it's one of those!
Clear penalty for the second, really intelligent run from Tommy Willard from Joe Felix pass, could always sense he was going to get there first and the keeper should have stood him up as he was going away from goal, sadly appeared that Tommy picked up a knock second half!
3rd goal, honestly an unbelievable finish from Ollie given the conditions, deft chip over the keeper, measured to absolute perfection! Goal of the season contender when you review what he had to do!
Weymouth Tap in for their 1, was coming and you always felt they would score 1 though I lost count of the amount of times they were offside or finished poorly.
4th goal, Ollie 1 on 1 with their keeper and you just knew the end result before he even shot, sets it up perfectly and he's ridiculous really, 32 goals in February is insane numbers, he needs 44 to equal the NLS record!
Silly Red for Joel, no need and the game was won so that's a dampner.
Shout out to Weymouth, lovely ground, great club and some lovely people that I had a chat with, really welcoming and will certainly be back.
Honourable mentions to Ollie Wright and Jack Wadham today! Also well done to Hinsh for the tactics today, the change of Wills for Klass was crucial and at the right time ๐
