Thanks to Pete for bringing that to life. Sounds a great game where only something special was going to divide the teams... Step up Wadham!
Starting Luer, bringing Kane on... Not sure they are the decisions of 'the previous administration'. Did anything feel different to fans there?
Well done to the club this week!

Aarran's at the wheel. Unbelievable.
As good as Wadhams goal was, Wright made an absolute worldy save too.
Top top performance.
New era well underway.

Last night was awesome. 3-3 would have been a fair score, an open game between two good teams. Was a weird vibe for the first 20mins. We missed Adam's energy on the sidelines and it was odd seeing nothing overt from the bench. Different styles doesn't mean that it isn't as effective.
The starting XI was subtly tweaked (as were some of the songs). Fage was left out so Felix could play further up (something I've been advocating for a while) Joel played RB and Tutty LB, so square pegs in square holes and some attacking intent compromised but with two players who can also tuck in centrally when out of possession, perhaps more solid defensively. Wadham and Spong were really tidy and used the ball well. Cashman was an absolute menace. Luer didn't do a lot (looked totally shot of confidence, there IS a player there) and Felix possibly had his worst game for us but clearly just had an off day as he's been sensational all season. Ollie Wright was INSANELY good and kept us in it with some wonder saves.
The best thing was how the whole team celebrated that winner (which is one of the best goals and cleanest hits you will ever see) like they'd won the World Cup with us all behind the goal. Proper togetherness. If we play like that every week we are in the play offs - simple as. We've got Klass, Austin and Wheeler to return so will have the squad to do this. Interestingly Spong wore 16 so that suggests that the Jesse Starkey Experiment (which sounds like a psychedelic rock band) of being a part time part time player is over.
A great night. Full credit to everyone involved last night.

But one of the things I worried about was that Hinsh was so tactically astute and brave, that maybe we'd end up a bit one dimensional with a (relatively) inexperienced management team. Any worries about that were dispelled with a starting XI that was tweaked with their DNA all over it and a few tactical changes mid-game. The Worthing way continues. HinshBall might even get tweaked slightly with V1.1 being more effective than V1.0 We will see!
