What a lovely read! Imagine the story if we win and his baby is born on the same day!
Cant bloody wait for Saturday, nerves and excitement already kicking in!

I’m sure they’d want to rearrange for the Tuesday night, rather than delay a week, then have possibility of a reply etc. They could also be thinking "Have it at short notice so there's a lower away support and maybe Worthing will be short of players who could get time off work" Just call me a cynical old Hector I think you’re flattering the club if you think the FA will think that far ahead. Actually there’s a full schedule of NLN and NLS games on 7/11 as well as most EFL League 1 and 2 have games so there will potentially be many rearrangements for replays. I don’t actually expect many postponements on Saturday given current forecasts.

Re George and where to be, no contest for me. He can always have another sprog or two, it might be another 24 years for the next 1st round match!

Another game at their ground postponed tomorrow night - Nottingham Forest for Wolves U21.
Hopefully it's all precautionary and ensuring that the pitch is in the best possible condition for Saturday despite the predicted poor weather.

They explained that in their X formerly known as a tweet. Makes sense and I think they are as keen on Saturday going ahead as we are

Really respect their precautions and apparent effort to get the game on.

I just saw that Horsham will have 500 at Barnsley tonight. That made me wonder how many will attend the game tomorrow. We will have 2 coaches so say that is 100 plus myself and my son who travel up today. So would I be far off if I say 250? Or am I completely wrong?
Love to be wrong only if we have more than that!

To misquote Sgt Pepper, it was 50 years ago today that I first saw Worthing play. Enthused by pre-match publicity of an FA Cup match, on 3rd November 1973 my father took me to Woodside Road to see Worthing play Wycombe Wanderers in the 4th qualifying round. Despite the 3-0 defeat (and a 2-0 loss to Ware in my next match), I continued to go and a 5-0 win at Christmas (against Herne Bay) was just enough to keep me interested, and here I am now!
Let's hope there are people inspired by this year's cup run that will still be following us half a century from now. And a win tomorrow will be even better...

Just two seats left on Coach #2 now. So any last minute changes of plan can still be accommodated to leave the supporters association with zero losses 👍🏻

Based around Nottingham for uni and thankfully the weather has been alright today. About a dozen degrees with sun throughout chunks of the day. Unless it pelts it down tomorrow we should be good to go.

Just arrived in St Alban's for the night, staying in Notts tomorrow. Me and Mrs PP dragging my Dad and Brother along... Absolutely pumped! Great opportunity for the club, the players, and us!
Safe travels all! COYR!
