Given Havant's league position and impending relegation I'm not sure they are in a position to really be the ones asking for large sums! They need to get what they are given and rebuild and come straight back up because they are gone. I also belive he has fallen down the pecking order due to not being one of Steve Kings 'chums!' Alot of irate rans about his lack of inclusion, he may not be the solution but I just feel he offers us something we don't have and might help us break down those low block sides.

£10,000 a month is our budget apparently relying on crowds of 1300+ to break even.
Recruitment was poor last season with the exception of Kane and it was the introduction of the loan signings, in particular Chamber, Dabre and Paxman, that bolstered the side to reach the play offs.
Recruitment has been equally poor this season in my opinion, Nicky and Ricky very decent additions with the rest no real improvement on what we had before. Too many luxury players who are all extremely similar.
Still cannot understand why Reece is not starting on the wing rather than playing for Horsham and why it took a few games into the season to get Ollie back up front.
December could be a defining month, 6 games with 4 being at home should give us a good indication as to whether we are good enough for a play off campaign.

There's a not inconceivable possibility of it being worse than 'meh'. The table is so tight this season that no-one can consider themselves safe... least of all as you said, a team that can be nullified as easily as we can. With virtually all our experienced players sidelined currently I fear a long hard winter awaits 😔 To the game itself I can't decide what was more embarrassing, their manbaby antics or our inability to be able to beat them. Why wait until the last 20 minutes to try crossing the ball?, to try urgency?, to try something other than 'crabbing' across the pitch?, to try and win a game of football? Its becoming tedious. I dint think it's that bad, this is a side that's beaten Bath and Farnborough away recently and they are fortresses! We just don't have enough quality in all departments. I'm sorry Greg Luer but you aren't good enough, that showed tonight that be isn't someone to lead a line at all, no presence! Go get Mo Faal in from Havant, he can't get game time so get him in, hes direct, quick and something we don't have. We don't have any Midfield muscle, Ricky is a great technical player and I like Odei but where is that bulldog rough em up 6ft 3 CM? that's what we need and then without Aarran or Joel at the back we have no leaders so we need a CB and we probbaly let's be honest need a keeper! Mid season overhaul? We can get things from a game when teams come onto us. The higher the side we play at their home ground, the more likely they are to bring the game to us. Its the others we struggle with. Everyone but the very top teams coming to Woodside will park the bus now, enough teams have been successful doing that. And away from home the lower down the table we visit the less important it is for them to entertain their fans over getting something from the game, they'll park the bus and give us the possession we seem to crave but can do the square route of **** all with. So as great as those wins at Bath and Boro were how hot and cold our results and performances are depends, for me, on what the opposition does, not what we do. I dunno, I'm just p155ed off at the moment with the situation. We seem to have sleepwalked into this squad imbalance and lack of cover issue and now we need to freshen up the menu... the cupboard is bare! I suppose we could always try playing a different way of course... ah, no wait, he'll never do that 😡

I believe Mo Faal has recently become a father and has wanted 2 weeks paternity leave which may explain his absence from their starting XI although it does appear he has fallen down the pecking order at Havant.
We have yet to replace Callum sufficiently, he was a far superior player to Greg who has really struggled to make any impact at all since arriving.

Funny you mention Chambers, on loan at Welling...

I saw Leur for a season or more at Woking in this league and he’s light years away from being good enough at this level, I thought Adam was a good judge of a player but he’s failed on this one big time.

Fully agree regarding Greg, just hasn't worked out for him or us at all so far.
Problem is that I think he is on a 2 year contract, assume he is on a decent wage, so unless someone comes in for him (no idea who would!) we may have our hands tied.

As for the Mo Faal love in, I agree, he has a fantastic goal scoring record. Ollie and Mo together at last? Yes please.
But we're all forgetting two things, Hinsh doesn't play strike partners and Mo doesn't fit our style of play.
He's a giant, he feeds on crosses. Yet tonight is a prime example. Umpty thrumpty corners but I counted two we hit straight into the box... and we over hit them both.
We spent the rest of the game passing the ball from side to side and only thought to start crossing the ball into the box in the final 15 minutes.
Mo Faal would've run about in the middle tonight getting none of the ball but more and more frustrated.
Its no good signing square pegs for round holes... unless the boss suddenly becomes open to having a plan B and going long, going direct.
But the lack of willingness to be flexible however, as demonstrated to date, is quite remarkable.

He might look better in the ILPD... I just hope its not with us in the second year of his contract 😳

What bright spark gave him a 2 year deal?? I'm sorry but there is something fishy about that deal!! Who's his agent? They worked wonders!!

All I would say to this is that if the current situation isn't working then, we don't know if we don't try!! If love to see us try and play through teams and cut them open, I also feel that would suit Danny more and get him into games as he's lost currently! He hasn't been his best but currently I'm willing to give him a free pass as we haven't played football to suit!

We talk about attackers but we seriously need to gey a big centre half in first !

I think if we are also highlighting poor recruitment then the fact that Nordibek Bobomurodov was playing for LA tonight says it all!!
