Looks like Pearce is off to Weymouth! Gutted if true! That is interesting. I wonder if he was Ill today then. However we were standing near the Worthing dugout against Slough away before the game started. Pearce wasn’t happy that he wasn’t starting. He said a few expletives and mumbled I be better off going out on loan to a gentleman. Maybe just frustration but who knows. If I am being really honest I prefer Pearce instead of Leur.

I understand his frustration with not starting and I do also agree that he is a better option though the middle than Luer! However we all know that Hinsh won't stand for that attitude if what he said is true! He has thrown moments like thos before and maybe he will come round! I feel he should be starting and will score goals but gotta have the attitude to match the attributes

No other players or management And why would he leave us for Weymouth? Monday will tell

Phil... where on Earth did you hear that rumour? Weymouth posted a tweet announcing he singed then deleted quickly. I hope it’s a joke, but with how things have been it will not surprise me. Like you all I prefer him to Luer

Like you all I prefer him to Luer And that is a hell of a drive for him as well. To train twice a week and play a match on a Saturday. Really hope it is not true. Or are they playing mind games?

I really hope this is not the case, but the players should all know by now that Adam will not stand for tantrums if they are not selected. Jessie learnt the hard way a few years back (but thankfully apologised). Harvey Sparks, Alfie Young, Shaquille Gwengue, and others must learn that Adam does what he feels is right in order to get the desired results.

Oh crap, I hope that is wrong because Ollie has proven his quality at this level and we won't get a replacement of the same level on our budget.
Luer is way behind him in terms of finishing meaning the only natural goalscorer we'd possess would be a currently crocked 35 year old.
Thought something was up when Luque got to take the penalty last week. It got lost in all the referee shenanigans, but that's Ollies wheelhouse all day long.
No-one is bigger than the club though so he does need to keep a good attitude.
However, equally, it takes two to tango with player/manager disagreements and Hinsh would do well to make his point but make amends quickly. Otherwise he risks cutting his nose off to spite his face if, after rightly reminding ANY player he's the boss, he stubbornly refuses to bring him back into the fold.
Because no Ollie = no promotion in my eyes ☹
Edit: Just double checked and there's no mention of it on their (very active and informed usually) message board.

That was also the reason given on the commentary by Pete Bally, the circumstances as described though is that Ollie made a late phone call. You could make a case for there being subtle digs in that interview too. It was chock full of stuff about 'great attitude from the players today', we've got a 'really strong bench' and there's a training group nearing availability, how good Luer and Fish looked together, 'what a great attitude Meeky has having not had the minutes he'd like but doesn't moan about it'... could be coincidence but it has to be acknowledged their also all 'messages' to any alleged disgruntled player about what he's up against and what's required to get their shirt back. I'm NOT saying Ollie, Hinsh or both are lying about any illness. But if a potential move *was* going on in the background then that would be the obvious holding cover story. I'm merely observing that a) on Ollies part by calling so late, its not possible for anyone to verify anything and b) on Hinsh's part thats better than admitting his player is off talking to another club. It gives him the chance to quietly make things right... if he wanted to. Something categorically *did* happen though. I didn't see it (I don't follow Weymouth) but something went out on Twitter because I got a random 'three crying emoji' post from the Away Boy Fanatics account just after the game ended... which made no sense at all given we'd won 🤷🏻 Whatever it was responding to had already gone by the time I read it and when I now try and open up the ABF Tweet it too shows 'this post doesn't exist'. All very suspicious. I really want to believe he's just got a touch of the trots... and yet!
