He got better, I was prepared to put that iffy period down to a slow recovery from the injury he picked up on debut.

I think it's a good move to bring Liam back. If we persist with 3 at the back then he's perfect in that left wing back role with Nick Wheeler more suited as a threat going forward and both our left sided players being more conventional left backs as part of a back 4. It's a shame Tutty is rarely fit these days and probably too much to ask Reuben to be a regular starter at this moment in his career. With this signing, possibly the only area we are now lacking is cover in central defence but I guess the problem there is getting someone in who is happy to be on the bench for much of the time. Perhaps this is an area where we can loan cover in as and when we need it? With 3 more loan spaces and depth in all other areas, it seems a good option.
