Maybe the question should be why does he want to leave? He's probably been badly advised by those around him. However, having signed a lucrative contract in April, I'm sure the club are in no hurry to sell him for less than his market value (plus his signing on fee).

His destination tells you why he's off, it's not exactly one for Bergerac

He clearly appreciated being voted fan's player of the year. And obviously loved playing for Worthing. First club Come in for him and starts bleating let me go that's loyalty for you Eastbourne or whoever are welcome to theππ

It surprises me the lack of loyalty even at this level Heljag, what about the players who done it for nothing at Worthing, very few left now sadly. That was true loyalty.

That's what you call loyalty. But we got rid of them so what go's around comes around. We got what we have.??

He's been sold now and Eastbourne are welcome to him.
I think this might actually galvanise us a bit. We can get back to basics with a young, local side with a bit of identity who are hungry and looking to be the best they can be, not chase a few quid somewhere else.
There are 3 players at Whitehawk I'd take tomorrow that would improve our team and plenty of rough diamonds out there if we look hard enough. With the biggest wage now off the payroll, we can bring a few in to improve the squad.
And if there's anyone else that doesn't fancy it, then say so now and we'll replace you as well. No one is irreplaceable.
What is certain is that our magnificent support will continue to back those 100% committed to the cause.

Who is it going to galvanise? The player who left then came back and was then made captain? What a mess. Can we even fill the bench now

Yes, we can fill the bench. Players are transient, the support is permanent. Three years ago, we had a whole squad who played for nothing. One of those players is now a professional in League Two. Sometimes in life, it pays to play the long game.

The one in league two was on a different planet to the others we all know that. As for Kane he was on the big money for a reason, he's a top player, who will need replacing.

Brace yourselves. There could be another imminent departure very soon. Sorry, but can't say anymore to add.
