Tend to agree with Alf, Personally I don't think Adam would have signed a contract if he didn't think he could take the club forward with the resources we have. Players will come and go and I think for the time being his judgement should be trusted that he will get the players he wants for the system we play, which I have to say, was good to watch and developing nicely as last season ended. Talking of Ben Pope, he always gave it his all and was a loyal servant to the club, but I sensed the writing was on the wall for him as he didn't get the game time you would expect towards the end of the season. Good luck to him at BHTFC. The next few weeks will be interesting to see who comes in. I see Bognor have got Robbie Blake in as coach which will attract probably players who might otherwise consider us. I wonder who has the bigger budget? Speaking to my son in law who went to college with new signing James Crane (and has kept in touch) it would seem to be us. What he told me (and it fits with the comments Crane made upon signing) was also from a number of contacts he has in the local non-league scene that things aren't too rosy at Bognor. I couldn't tell you pounds, shillings and pence what Bognor have to spend relative to us but when the noises off are about a seeming lack of ambition there, and appearances are pointing to ambition here, I would've thought to any player choosing a move to either Bognor or Worthing would likely choose us. It is always a bit scary when proven players move on but the replacements have yet to arrive. The time to make judgements about budgets and ambition though is not now, it's when the revolving door has eventually stopped turning and we find out who came in too. If we get better players in by the time the season starts, then great. The club has stated that the budget remains the same next season. Fair enough, we don't want to overstretch ourselves which could leave us in financial peril. The trick will be for Hinch to ensure he gets more bang for his buck with those he does sign, gaining the proverbial quart from a pint pot. That'll be tough but that's a situation that would've been clear to him when he signed. The fact he did suggests he's up for the challenge, and more power to his elbow, I look forward to seeing who comes in. Rocks fan here I come in peace. As you say know one will ever know what £££'s any side in this league are spending. But what I do know the football club is in a very healthy position off the pitch. Sometimes change is good, lots of old school are leaving or left (bar Jack of course) 😂 Bit like yourselves.. Think a a lot of it this season will be what players wanna play for what manager in my humble people,Adam Hinsh at yours is a great appointment for a further 3 years, has Jack been clever getting Robbie Blake in? I guess only time will tell, does he know enough about this level of football.. Anyway enjoy your summer lads, and see you guys soon...

Re the 'keeper situation, I read a report on the Herald website a couple of days ago that Lucas Covolan is seeking a contract higher up the non league pyramid and that Adam is waiting to see if he will re-sign should he not be sucessful. It may be a while before we know who will be our number 1.

Thought Harvey was one of the three best leftsided players in the division last season . IMO streets ahead of any one else at the club playing that role . Look forward to seeing Adams recruitment for that position . Who ever it is he will have to be some player . Very very strange decision by the club .

...a decision we can only put in context once we see the player who replaces him. Unless of course it comes out that he chose to move on. Unlikely mind.
It'll certainly be an odd sight to see him a Bognor shirt, likewise Ben as a Hillian.

Kieron Pamment, Alfie Young and Ross Edwards all staying on for next season. According to the Isthmian League website, Kieron Pamment has now left Worthing to join Burgess Hill Town. I thought he fitted in really well last season and improved a lot as a player. Really strange decision from the outside looking in.

Wow!, and not in a good way.
A team kicking on needs to keep hold of it's better players and move on the (awful phrase) 'dead wood'. Kieron defiantly falls into the former category... as did Zak, Harvey, Lucas and man mountain Raccine.
Patience is a virtue for a reason and I still retain enough to hope incoming players lift the overall level. But without them there is a somewhat concerning trend emerging here.

The 'concerning trend' is stopped in it's tracks it seems, there looks to be a decent pedigree to these two.
Welcome aboard lads, now smash the back of some nets for us.

Another couple of great signings for the club and being young/local is always appreciated. Been a very good off season and cannot wait for the season to start now......!

Danny Barker has signed on again. Good news. Was instrumental during our good run of form towards the end of last season.
