Dorking are apparently going to train in the mornings, rather than the evenings, and yet remain part-time?

Not disagreeing with you but there were one or two players last season that were questionable. One of them being Mo(?) from Crawley.

Have heard we are looking at doing the same

If we are to train in the mornings I wonder how that would work for some of the players. I know 2 of them are both working at schools. Would they be able to train? Or would that mean we would lose them? Both, in my eyes, very important players.

One thing I have noticed, alot of clubs even at this level publish a retained list of players, or have at least confirmed several new signings already!

I'm not having a go at the club here, but it does feel we are slower on the uptake of getting new players in, or is it that we take a more methodical approach to recruitment?

Speaking with a couple of players they know nothing about training on mornings next season. Given that many of them have jobs, they don’t see it could work.

Why the hurry? Shake the player tree higher up the pyramid and see what drops. Many announced as signings now (and remember players are still registered with their previous clubs until the end of May) will be looking for another club in August. "Slowly slowly catchy monkey"!

All the best to Harrison, for my money as good as if not better than both Rushworth and Covolan, who both went on to play professional football. Hope H makes it too.

The 'prolific' Javaun Splatt has signed for Whitehawk.
As has Luca Cocaracchio.

He's been excellent and although I do think Rushworth and Covolan were marginally better in some respects, Harrison's distribution was second to none. I'd have to rely on Kenty for the stats but can't see many keepers with more assists than him this past few years. To also have him as 'ours' and not a loanee was also good for the club so hopefully that'll pay dividends in the future.

The disappointment of Harrison going would be tempered by the signing of Lincoln.

Interestingly, Dan Lincoln has also played first class cricket!! Agreement he would be an excellent replacement for H
