For comparison Northern League 1 (equivalent to SCEFL top Div) is usually £6 and Div 2 £5 up here. Add in pre match clubhouse pints at £2.80 and you can see why the numbers attending are quite healthy

Fair to say l will be picking my games this comeing season . As an "oldie " anything above £10 would probably cross a mental barrier that I would struggle to justify and with Horsham being a tad closer may settle for a few more games there . That is a shame that the ticket price decides where you go and watch h football. Hopefully they announce the prices soon and there will be an option for a reduced ticket price for “senior” spectators. Sorry but can’t think not the correct term. Been a long day.

Everyone has their limit and price may be an influence to a lot of people. But coming from a Football League perspective even £15 would still seem very good VFM.
Ironically its the things you DON'T get for that price that are actually still the things I cherish most.
No hassle with tickets. No hoops to jump through on entry. No having to down a pint in a packed concourse because drinking alcohol within sight of the pitch is illegal. No allocated seating. No segregation. No being held from leaving after a game. No threat of violence. No (or at least significantly less) focus on the result, it doesn't define the whole match day experience as much.
Anyhoots, I digress, my point being 'value' is very much an individual concept.

Not sure about the motive behind it . Is to ensure to get more people attending. Stack them high and sell it cheap? And hope that there will be secondary spend on food, drink or merchandise? And by lowering the ticket prices are they increasing the prices of food drink etc. Or is it an attempt to show how nice the new owners are? PR stunt? Or just a genuine attempt to get people watching Crawley? Their attendance is not great. Being realistic not every club can afford to lower their prices. But with everything the future will tell if it was a great move or not. Just hope Worthing releases prices soon!

Doubt it'll change their gates much. Whenever Palace/West Ham/Arsenal/Spurs or Chelsea are at home or on TV they'll be there watching that.
Its the very specific footballing demographic of the Town that's the problem, not the prices.

Great value season tickets, especially the early birds. My earlier fears were unfounded and fair play to the club for setting the prices at a very reasonable level. It was inevitable that admission prices would be raised a few quid but this will hopefully encourage more people to sign up for season tickets which work out at less than a tenner per game. Only other observation would be maybe extending the early bird offer for an extra week for those who are paid at the start of the month. Other than that, great work by the club and with the great new signings I’m hopeful that we will be in and around the play off places with crowds averaging around the 1500 mark. Forza ragazzi 💪

Less than £9.50 a game if you buy a season ticket before the offer runs out, can't argue with that. On the day prices match most of the other clubs in the division as well so all in all, a very sensible pricing structure.

I cant say I'm familiar with the costs involved with running a club at NLS level or what is the norm for this league, but after talking to my mate who watches Havant our prices seem a bit on the higher side.
On the face of it a small rise is understandable considering inflation and the move up the leagues. But I dearly hope that it doesn't dent the impressive attendances that have made Woodside road such a great place to watch football over the last 5 years.

That is good value, and I'd like to think because of that the season ticket numbers will absolutely rocket this season.
A smart move by the club to greatly increase ST's because its much harder to convince yourself to swerve those horrible wet evenings in winter when you've already paid. It wouldn't surprise me if they get that discount back in the additional beer and food of people who'd otherwise have stayed at home for the more 'grim' fixtures.
Edit: Another good call by the club that may have passed unnoticed is to include free entry to the Women's games with a Season Ticket. U18's were free to ST holders previously but not the Women games. I know the club were keen to increase attendances for the Sunday games and this can surely only help.
And the U18's really should charge more than £2, maybe they will this season (other clubs charge up to a fiver and our team is absolutely excellent). But if you are wavering on trying a ST this year for the first time you have to add up the other little savings represented by free entry to the our other teams games too, it just adds to the value of one 👍🏻

I think the club have got this pretty much spot on.
We were told at the fans' forum thing that they had budgeted last year for an average home attendance of around 800. Clearly this was exceeded quite significantly, but as has been pointed out elsewhere on this thread, the loss of games against Bognor, Horsham and Lewes means that those bumper 1500 - 2000 ish gates may not be as likely next season. Meaning the average gate is probably going to go down.
If they were aiming for x thousand pounds on the gate each home game in the IPL, then they are probably looking at at least x+2 thousand gate money per home game in the NLS, given the extra expenses which will be incurred. Back of a fag packet calculations suggest that the increase in cost of entrance from £12 to £15 should cover this even if crowds do actually go down a bit.

I think the additional entry to womens' and u18 league matches has been undersold by the club. I too use my season ticket to support them both on occasions. The women I sometimes watch on a Sunday with the family but I do love a Tuesday evening watching the u18s! And there are a fair few other club fans who do the same. The u18 trials were very competitive this year (based on Stu's bit on the podcast), so next year will be exciting!
It is a season ticket for the club, not just the team which is great value for money!

The 18s have lost a few extremely talented lads as they've just got too old However, there is a very strong squad in place for next season, and they will certainly acquit themselves very well again in the Isthmian Youth league.
